I was invited to the home of our trusty Pres. of the local Trad. Arhery Club. We were going to finish some items in his woodshop that were going to be part of the auction at the annual banquet. Well he had sawn one too many arrow box panels. So I glued, nailed(not always well!)and then took it home. At home I put a "piano" hinge on it, the protection brass corner caps and two handles. One handle on the long side for carrying. One handle on the end to use when pulling it out of the back of the pickup. I also stained these with a Minwax cherrywood stain and then sealed with Daly's Profin which is an indoor-outdoor sealer. If you don't look too close I think it turned out pretty nice for an amateur-first timer.

Try it again with that added-should work for you then.

Looks great. Good work!
Hey David I got one that looks almost identical. Except mine does not have the handles I am gonna try and find some handles for mine. Yours looks better. Good job.

Thanks guys for the compliments. It was a fun project. But like I said the panels were already sawn out. I sure wish I had some woodshop machines and some place to set them up...next house I guess.
