Well we put on of the little fellars through the ringer this morning on the shooting machine. The bow tested is a basic model with maple limbs and black glass.
This bow is 52" ntn and 31# @ 26"
It shot a 283 gr arrow (9.12 gpp) at 183.7 fps drawn to 26".
Drawn to 28" at 34# is shot the same arrow (8.32 gpp) 200.1 fps.
I think the little fellar is a keeper.
Mike
Haven't noticed these bows on your site, Mike.
Can you tell us about them?
Steve
Very impressive Mike...those two you made during Christmas were some very nice looking bows.
Chris
Steve,
We are getting it on today, I hope.
This is a bow we designed for youth hunters and near hunters. Also good for people with short drawlength.
It is a R/D Longbow offered from 50-54" ntn and 20 - 45 #.
The basic bow comes with your choice of our standard wood risers, maple limb cores and black glass, tips have matching accent to handle.
Same upgrades are available as on our other bows.

Mike
Thank you, Mike. I have a young fellow that is about ready to step up to such a bow. I'll keep an eye peeled.
Steve
Mike, I think you might have a new turkey special there. If you can make one that is 45# @ 27" there will be a run on them for spring season and us blind shooters (shoot from a pop up with our eyes closed).
Mike,
How about a 54" at 28 1/2"s????
I can't wait to see these on the site. Sounds like a great deal for the upcoming hunters/target shooters...
gator,
28 1/2 is a real stretch for the little guy. We shot the 52 at 28 with the shooting machine but were watching the limbs close so we didn't pull past 90 degrees.
The 54 will go there, but it will have some pinch.
It's really designed for a 26 inch draw or so.
Mike
:bigsmyl:
if it goes up to 28" and is up to 45lbs i really will see more adults getting it for themselves than their kids lol
those are some very impressive speeds!
any pics!?
28 can be achieved with the 54" and 45#s. We are developing a 14" riser/handle on the same limb for adult shooting.
Mike
Thats outstanding I cant wait to get my hands on it and niether can Garrett. There will be lots of pics next saturday when he opens it for his birthday.
Shawn
Shawn,
Yep that's your boys bow we were running the numbers on. Garrett should be a lethal weapon with that one in hand.
Mike
Do you have pictures and a price? 45 lbs at 26" sounds just about prefect for me.
Dang!! 183 @ 26" is fantastic!! Sounds like a WINNER!
Chester,
We will get some pics today before the bow heads for it's new home and the price is on our website.
The bow has a youth grip and sight window. We are working on an adult version.
Mike
I got your email mike go ahead and post the pics. I'll keep Garrett away from the computer until Sat.
Shawn

Mike
perfect.
hey wingnut....would the price remain the same on the adult version?
It's going too be higher. We can use "shorts" on the Phoenix for the riser and they are a lot less expensive.
Can't tell for sure yet, haven't built an adult version.
Mike
Wow what a good looker. Those numbers are great.Miht have to get fire proof fletching for the arras. :)
WOW!!! Garrett is going to love it. Outstanding job Mike.
Shawn
Thanks, Shawn!
Can't wait too see the pics when he gets his bow.
Mike
speaking of little bows for little fellers, hows little trees yewboo bow coming????That Pheonix is beautiful Mike!
Brad,

Mike
These are outstanding bows for the value guys 'n gals...just ordered 4 for customers up in the great white north...I think I have 2 sold already!! Can hardly wait for them to arrive!!
Looks like an awesome design that will also make a great adult size bow. I thought that his bow sounded really fast!
I think my wife would love one of these!
Does the adult version shoot as fast as the kid bows ?
Actually it's a little faster. :scared:
Mike
Mike, is the cocobolo handle an upgrade?
Coco is on the premium wood list so it is a $35 upgrade.
