Title: HELP is there a bow Doctor in the house

I'm looking to see if anybody out there know's someone who can fix my jk traditions bow I loaned it to someone that also lurks (not saying any names)in the tradgang forums and left it strung up in the heat inside my garage and it came apart. any suggestions please.

Hey coon007, I got Jason's info, I'll give it to you tomorrow at work...yes it was me that left it strung.  But how many times have I had to unstring your bows when you leave them in the pick-up, huh?  Like today for example.

Well unless the garage was over 150 degrees, the heat didn't hurt it and either did leaving it strung.  Glass bows can be left strung for year without a problem.

Get a hold of the bowyer and see if he can figure out what happened.

Now if it's an "all natural" bow, unstring it always.

Where's that MILLION $$ ?? Again ,,, "TO UNSTRING OR NOT" ??  Mine are ALWAYS unstrung ,, When NOT being shot ...  Good Luck ....

Wingnut, it is not uncommon to be in the triple didgets down here, I think the high last year was 115, so the garage probably did get hotter than the heat box. I'll try to call Jason Monday.
I usually unstring my bows when not in use, but I had to leave quick that afternoon and I assumed that coon007 would unstring it for me.  I should have taken the time to do it myself as it was a loaner and I was/am responsible for it.
