I'm floating, and getting back a Morrison Cougar I used to own! I regretted selling even before I sent it off, but tried to forget about it and move on. And as many of you know, I've went through a few bows over the years...
Then just a few days ago, I saw a picture of it on here posted by another member, and it was a picture I'd taken when I lived in Oklahoma in my back yard.
So, I went ahead and PM'ed the member to see if he still had it, but he had sold it to another member, so I PM that member and he had traded it to another member, and low and behold I found the bow and he was willing to let it go!
So, the wheels are in motion and the bow is heading back to my stable...
Thank you Skinner, Carbon Caster, and Straitshot! I couldn't be any more appreciative of your willingness to help a bowaholic out! Enablers! ;)

Damn Larry. You never offered that up to me.Your a real bow pimp to let such a beauty go.
Jeff,
I have on occasion been afflicted with the same condition so perhaps someday someone may have to do the same for me. It is a terrific bow but it will be in the mail by Saturday. Hope you will enjoy it for many years to come.
Louis
Really nice  I don't believe I have ever seen one like it.
Some real class acts here on Trad Gang
Glad it was still in the Trad Gang family for you to track down.
Glad you finally tracked it down Jeff!!! Great news. I really like the 1/2 pinecones in the grip of that bow. Truly a work of art. That bow was actually the reason I ordered a new PLX in Tulipwood.

Well done Straitshot!!! I am going to use a phrase that I have developed since becoming part of this trad community--"This could only have happened on Tradgang"
Great place we hang our hats for sure. Happy for you Jeff, nice!
That's cool.
I remember when that bow was for sale (two of the times anyway). I was tempted to buy it at one point, but bought another instead. Be glad that I didn't buy it!! It would have stayed on my rack! :readit:

If you let this go, I'd love to see what you kept. This one sure is a beauty..Congrats on getting her back..

yea I had it to.... :bigsmyl: kiddin.. man that is a beautifull bow, no wonder ya wanted it back.... I had a PLV widow longbow I did the same with.. now its not goin anywhere..
The woods are correct above, canebrakes, 1/2 pinecones and 52# @ 28" (if I remember correctly...) I know it was mid 50# at my 29" draw and it is 62".
Thanks all, and no it isn't going anywhere once it gets here! ;)
Killie doesn't deliver your mail does she? :D
Went and picked up the bow from the Post Office today, still has the same leather strike plate and shelf rest I put on and someone refinished it. Very good job whoever did it!
Need to make a new string for her, but it's like shooting with an old friend. Eagle's Flight quiver coming in the mail soon and her and I will be ready to hit the woods...
Thanks again fellas!
I touched up a few spots with CA glue when I had her. She is a Beauty and a real shooter as well. I have no doubt that was probably the prettiest bow I have ever or will ever own. Glad you were able to get it back. If there was ever a prettier bow I have never seen it.
Come to think of it, I may have refinished the entire riser section with CA glue. I love the LOOK of the Pinecone, but couldn't get used to the feel. If they had not been on it, I would have been the one that would have had to ship it back to B4life after telling him NO several times. LOL!!!
