Title: Bear Kodiak Magnum, Super mag 48
Post by: inthebox30lbs on January 24, 2009, 10:20:00 AM
The bows being 52" and 48in  would a 28in draw length work with them and what would be the max draw that these bows would handle without severe pinch.  thanks

I had a K-Mag a few years ago.  It shot well but was not an easy bow to shoot well. It handled/shot quite differently from any of my other bows and as I like bows which allow me to grab & go with the one I want for the situation, it didn't fit well in my gig....

It also began stacking badly at 28".  I draw 28.5" and knew the second I passed 28".  It was like hitting a wall...

I shoot 3 under so don't have much problem with finger pinch.  So being, I cannot comment on that aspect...

I shoot a 1968 K Mag 52. 29.5 inch draw split finger. put 1 inch longer string on it low brace height. this is my every hunt set up. shoots great.
