Even though the thermometer is hovering around Zero, the little pesky "Gnat" landed at my clinic today. Now I need to get her ready for the Texas Pig Gig. I hear she packs one heck of a sting :) Doc

Oh great, as if chiggers and ticks and fleas weren't enough to worry about. Now there's going to be a gnat in my tent! :bigsmyl:
Hey Doc, I hear those cold weather "Gnats" are tough. I'm sure those Texas hogs will soon find out just how tough. Good luck on the "Gig".
You big TEASE!! :knothead: :knothead: :wavey:
I recognise that handwriting :saywhat:
Now show us the rest of it! (Not just the rug-rest either. You know what I mean...)
Whip, I got the chiggers, ticks, and fleas covered so don't worry...oh what size shirt errr I mean shirt collar do you wear :) Got plenty of XXL large flea and tick collars at the clinic
Jeff,
That just isn't fair!!! How long are you going to make use wait to see the rest of the pictures??? :banghead: :banghead: :biglaugh:

OK, as soon as I get back from my birthday dinner, I'll post a couple more pictures. Now where did I put my cane & wheel chair...Doc
How long does it take to eat strained peas?
Killdeer :saywhat:
Aw c'mon Killy. He did say it was his birthin day. He probably had mashed tatters and meatloaf too! ya know, all the good gummer foods. :biglaugh: Sorry Doc. I couldn't resist
Doc has been waiting like a little kid at Christmas for this one.
Good one Killy, remind me to try and stay on your good side. I hear Doc has a bow shortage and was feeling kinda blue. Nothing like a new stick to chase away that SAD.
Damn Doc, Enough is Enough. Lets see the whole picture please!!!!!!!!!!
Come on Doc.
Ya'll are brutal! Actually everyone took me out for Chinese with a couple Mia Tia's thrown in...so I might not get the whole story straight :bigsmyl:

What's going on here??? Posting two inches of the bow at a time? At this rate I guess I'll have to wait until we get to Texas to see the whole thing!
Certain things in life are funny when shown over a period of time but this is not one of them :smileystooges:
By the way happy bithday :archer: Can't wait to see the rest of the bow
Nice birthday present. A one of a kind Griffin is a heck of self gift!
:bigsmyl: :archer:
This bow started at Denton Hill last summer. I have always liked short longbows and Griffins in particularly. John had a 56" Griffin in my weight that I loved. So it ended up in my Tipi or was it Whip's Tipi :)
Anyway we got to talking about doing up a 56" bow bolt Griffin. My traveling/airline T/D Griffins are 60 inches and really too long to safely pack in a duffel. John had been thinking of making a few of these up. Then we started joking around about a name for this size bow. I wanted it all black...micarta riser & tips & black glass with bamboo cores. So I said the Gnats on my bear stand were black, small, merciless and packed a Big Sting. He wasn't quite sure if that was the name he wanted for this line of bows...but it was for me :)
Well, it showed up...just by luck on my birthday as the Gnat :bigsmyl:
