i've been readin alot about each of these bows over the last couple weeks. and i would love to have any of them. but, if ya had to choose ONE, which one would ya choose??
im leanin strongly toward the kanati. after readin rob tatoo's thread and lookin at the pics i think im in love. plus the price i feel is great as well.
keep in mind i havent ever shot any of these bows. im just going by looks and reviews.

I'll be bringing a Holm-Made to Shawn's next month Jamie that you can try.
Heck, why choose? get one of each!! :goldtooth: :biglaugh:
I have a list of bows that I want to get,
Now I just have to find them.

KANATI
All three great choices, slightly different bows in there own way.
that would be awesome dave. i really like the looks of recurve bows, but try as i might i just shoot these types of bows alot better.
I have never shot or handled a Kanati or a Holm-Made bows, but I liked the Whisperstik Mojostik so much I now have three... JD makes a great bow
Kanati
I have shot both the Kanati and many diff. whisperstiks. I think they are very different styles. At least the whispersticks that I shot. Both are very fine bows. The Kanati I liked the forward style grip and the short limbs. I remember whisperstiks to be longer bows. But it was propbably 3 years back that I shot them. My local shop had many in stock. I think they still do. I liked them. I would go with the Kanati if it was me. That is because I like short limbed bows. I have a short draw.

The only one of the three I've had the opertunaty to shoot is the Kanati. I own one now and it's one of my favorite "go to" bows. I could easily see myself picking up another, I really appreciate the handle and the way it shoots.
That doesn't stop me from wanting to try the other two, however. :D
I have never shot the Kanati, but I have two whisperstiks, one really
nice takedown that I was blessed enough to shoot 4 deer with this year. I have a 32'' draw shooting a 60'' bow and it is very smooth, fast, quiet, and doesn't stack. I'm sure it will be a favorite of mine for a long time.
Obviously, I love the Kanati! They are a great bow and a great buy. I haven't shot the others, so I have nothing positive or negative to say about them. I don't think you can go wrong with one of Jason's bows. Kanati all the way!
ford, chevy or dodge....which one? its all personal. had the kanti, liked it. have a 56" whisperstik now and its the best bow for me. call the bowyers and check into a demo bow.
KANATI
My son shoots a Holm made, and it is a fine bow!!!
Out of those the Kanati, but you kow what I shoot and they do make a longbow! Shawn
Got a Holm made back during the Holidays. I am more than happy with it.
i'd go with the Holm-Made, chad makes excellent bows.
oh yeah did i mention i'm staying at his place in a few weeks for a bunny hunt? I do want a warm place to sleep :)
Seriously though, he really does make great bows and won't sell anything less than perfect.
Have not shot the Holm-made..... but have owned a whisperstik and kanati...
Kanati for sure.... great craftsmanship, points well and is quick... Jason Kendall is also a stand up guy..
I am sure the other two are very nice, but I have only shot the Holm-Made. My Holm-Made has a Bow Bolt that makes it a two piece take down. It is very fast and accurate. It compares very well to my ACS CX and is half the price. I can highly recommend it. If the Whisperstik and Kanati are not offered with the Bow Bolt, and you travel with your bows, I think you would be happier with the Holm-Made.

Can't comment on the other two but the Whisperstick is a sweet little bow. Several different handle types, several different sizes, and JD will build you just about anything you want. He's a man that stands behind his product. I'm a recurve shooter but own one of JD's longbows and shoot it really good. He cut it to center for me.

I have no experience with the whisperstick, but own a kabekona river (pre-kanati) and 2 holm-mades. These are the only bows I currently own and the only ones I have ordered new. I have shot and hunted with them alot. I would recommend either to anyone - they are of the highest quality. With that said they are very different designs. The kanati is a forward handle/lots of deflex and has a deeper grip - it is similar to the shrew. The holmmade osprey has less deflex (more of a straighter risor)and is designed for performance whereas the kanati is designed to be a little more forgiving. The kanati design allows for a shorter bow length where the osprey functions best at 60 inches. One difference is the holm-made can be ordered with many different wood combos and options such as the bow bolt where the kanati can only be ordered with laminated risors that are stained different colors. The quality of both bows are outstanding and as good or better than more expensive bows I have owned from big name bowyers. Definitely two of the best values out there right now and both bowyers will bend over backward to make sure you are happy.
I have one of Jason"s older bows So I am sure that the Kanati has got to be good. Hopefully I will be able to try a kanati soon.
