Recently bought a used A&H ACS CX, 64" 44@28. I draw 30" so for me it's 49@30. I've been strictly a recurve shooter and I'm amazed at how well this thing shoots. My question is how are the 62" limbs with a 30" draw? The 64"s are smooth and comfortable with no stack, what should I expect with 62" limbs in the same or a little more weight at my draw length.
A/H recommends 64" up to 31", 62" to 29" draw.

At that draw you may end up with an exploded bow. I have had a 60" ACS blow up at a 28 inch draw...be careful and it's probably best to check with OL!
I shot a 62" ACS at my 30" draw and if I was buying one it would be 66".
I have 3 64" ACS bows from A&H. I have shot the 62" ones and find them less comfortable to shoot at my 30' draw. You will also lose some performance with the shorter limbs. I have not shot the 66", but will stay with the 64"
I have shot both the 64 and 66 and ended up buying the 66 with my 30" draw
I have a 62" set, 47@28, that I bought used on the way. They should be here sometime this week. I'll give them a try and if they're not comfortable to shoot I'll sell em. Bought them for a real good price, don't think I'll have trouble selling them if they don't work out with my 30" draw. Just wondering if anybody out there was shooting the 62's with a 30" draw.
I have the 62, 64 and 66" limbs...my draw length is 29"...the 62" start staking at 29...the 64" are good and the 66" the most comfortable....
