As a dealer for Day One Camouflage, I noticed a difference in the ASAT Bucksuede material. After checking with Gary at Day One, I found that at times the Bucksuede can run "on the gray side".
It will appear slightly darker than the lighter tone. I wanted my pants lighter and didn't care about the pack. Here are a few pics taken this morning on a cold (-7 degrees), overcast day....

Joe, which one are you saying you prefer, it seems to me that the colors on the pack are more subdued, leading me to believe that that "shade" may be more effective.(Though with ASAT I think either would work fine.)

Dave, prefer the lighter tone for hunting. I used the pack out west and out in the timber, blends well. That darker tone would be excellent for any tree stand camo and would be fine on overcast or rainy days when the woods are more "darker". The lighter or creamy shades blends better for my stillhunting and ground blind hunting.
That is good camo, i may have to invest in some one day.
Joe, Are you selling the day one pack? I've been looking for on in ASAT! Let me know what you're getting for the pack... thanks Jan
