Title: 56" Whisperstik
Post by: Moon on January 16, 2009, 11:35:00 PM
Those Whisperstiks recurves sure look nice so I thought I would ask this question to those who have shot them.  If I draw 29.5" would a 56" bow fit me well or would I experience finger pinch?  BTW, I normally shoot 60" takedown bows with medium grip but have been wanting a one piece for quite a long time.  Also, I have narrowed the field down to Whisperstik, Great Northern Super Ghost or Rivers Edge Arroyo.

Any info appreciated.

Thanks.

I had J.D. make me one last summer and I love the bow. I have a 29" draw, shoot 3 fingers under and there is no problem with finger pinch. They are smooth out past my draw and they are good looking bows. J.D. is great to deal with,it would be my top pick.

if your looking for a shorter bow,,I would'nt look any farther than the whisperstick,,does not stack at your draw,,great bows and excellent craftsmanship

Another vote for the Whisperstick. Never shot the others but the Whisperstick is smooth and fast.

I haven't shot the others either and can't speak about a 29.5" draw length,as mine is 27", but I did get my first 56" MojoStik recently and it is my new favorite bow.The bow is beautiful, fast, quiet and easy to shoot. The handle feels great too.I believe there are a couple in the classifieds right now.

I draw an honest 30" and have big hands.  Finger pinch is usually an issue for me.  I had a 60" mojostick and when I buy another it will be 62".  The bow did not stack at all but was borderline on the fingerpinch for me.  The workmanship is excellent and the bow is as fast and quiet as anything out there.
