Title: How to get in touch with David Sosa?
Post by: schlaggerman on January 15, 2009, 05:06:00 PM
I have a DAS Master and am considering an extra set of limbs. I wanted to talk to David to get his opinion on Border limbs vs the other ILF limbs. Anybody have any contact info?

schlaggerman - I got a pair of HEXV H.  45# longs.  I put them on a 21" Elite.  adjust to 52# on the clicker (i put a stick on clicker for testing).  ya have to have a differnt limb attachment if you are shooting the DAS limb attachment than the usual DAS ILF replacement.  you can get them from Borders.  I have ILF and DAS limb attachement elites.

HEXV H were the fastest limb I have tested on any recurve I have.  I have never shot 52# limbs with a clicker before but they were very smooth thru the clicker.  they didn't feel like 52# to me. that is a good thing   :)

I'm not an expert but I can say the border HEXV H limbs are the most stable and fastest limbs I have shot.  Testing at 20yds with a sight and clicker the lateral group size indicates to me (and my shooting) that the toresional stablitity Borders advertises could well be a fact!

My draw is 28" to the front of the bow.  I can't say how the limbs would function at longer or shorter draws.  I was only testing my bow at my draw....the HEXV H were hot and stable   :)
