I have an Eagle's flite quiver that I really like for it's small size and light weight. Unfortunately, the velcro straps catch on my wool clothing when I put the bow under my arm while walking or on my lap while on stand. I've tried to tape over the velcro, but it won't stay on. Any other ideas as to how I might keep the velcro from sticking to my wool?
Use a piece of velcro, the opposite to what is exposed. You can buy it cheap anywhere. I had the same issue this season and that is what I was going to try but I had forgot about it. So I haven't actually tried it yet. If you find something that works, post it.
kadbow said exactly what I was going to.
Hmmmm. Should work if I can find "one-sided" velcro. On the quiver, it's two sided with the the hard plastic hooked side exposed, and the fuzzy side underneath, and it's wrapped back unto itself. Thus, I would need the fuzzy side of a strip of velcro to go over it. I have some backed/stick-on velcro which is sticky on one side, but flat, and either hooked or fuzzy on the other. Now I need to find it without a sticky backing.
If you leave it on while you shoot try putting some e-tape over it or velcro straps around the straps on the quiver!
just put some tape on the sticky side......

If you can't find any I might have some velcro straps that could work that I could send you, let me know!
Buy the width you need at Walmart. It will come with both pieces, but for the cost not a big deal and you'll have some rest material left over.
go to a sewing/craft/big box store. should be able to find asst sizes of sew on velcro. no sticky stuff. thats were i get mine for all my hunting projects
Thanks folks. That's what I'll do. Shouldn't have any difficulty finding it.
Go to any fabric store. You can buy velcro strapping (both sides) very cheaply. You could also "Shoe-goo" a bit of soft cloth to the non-velcro side once you figure out what you'll need.
