Title: Back Quivers?
Post by: PastorSteveHill on January 12, 2009, 10:45:00 PM
This may be a silly question, but are back quivers and shoulder quivers the same? I like a shoulder quiver I see advertised at the Black Widow Site, but would like to wear it on my back and not like a purse...  Thanks for any advice and I know I'll get poked at for this.. hahaah

Steve,

I dont think they are the same, one is for pulling from your back, the other from the side. But i'm sure you could wear it like a plains quiver, which is like a cross between the two.

Pastor Steve,

Check out the arrowmaster by Safari Tuff. I just bought one & it is the best thing going. It's the one that Denny Sturgis Jr. has been using.

I have a back quiver from Dwyer Longbows that is really cool.  It sits TIGHT to my back and is really out of the way.  You can see them at  www.dwyerlongbows.com (http://www.dwyerlongbows.com)

Yep, what tenbrook linked you to.  This is a really nice quiver that can be used as a back quiver or a stalker.  Bobby has also added a new feature that cinches down on the shafts for additional quiet movement.  They are just plain CLASSY!  I really like mine for the summer 3-d shoots as it is also very minimal.  Construction quality is top notch.

The Arrow masters are the "next level", and one major league product.  The "Apex" of non-bow mounted quivers.

Each has its plusses, and neither is a bad choice.

I just ordered an arrowmaster.  I can't wait and hope it is evertything it has been said to be.
