Title: Arrows for my tip
Post by: Toklat1 on January 12, 2009, 09:03:00 PM
I am going to be ordering arrows for my new bow sometime here in the near future. I usually order POC shafts and make them myself. I want to get some input out here from as many of you as possible and see what your opinions are. I would like to order some ready made arrows and not necessarily have to have POC. What/Who have you been happy with as far as custom arrows go? I do not have my bow yet but would like to have the arrows in place when my bow arrives in May. I am having built a Schafer Silvertip 3 pc take down, 60" 55lbs@27" draw. Any input is greatly appreciated.

The best place I have ordered from is Elite Arrows. He will tell you all you need to know about what you need. I dont think you can get more arrow for your money any where else. I love laminated birch for its weight, straightness and durability.JMO.

Check out Twig Archery.  He has cedar, poplar, ramin and probably others.  If his arrows are as good as his shafting, it will be topnotch.

Brock at "Bull Mountain Archery" gets my VOTE.  He can supply them footed, or tapered or both,  POC, Fir,or carbon  GT's with wraps or dipped and crested to your design, has many different stain options, Excellent prices, Fast delivery, does all the work himself, and is a sponsor here at TG.  What more can you ask for.

Ted Fry (Raptor Archery) and Bob Burton (Whispering Wind Arrows) are two the best that come to mind when ordering arrows or shafts.
