This a new to me double bamboo "Bamboo Dragon" by James Parker. Brazilian Cherry riser and tip overlays, rock maple core, raw bamboo on the back and tempered bamboo on the belly. Scorched bamboo on the belly and the back. 60"AMO and 55# @ 28.
Light as a feather. Absolutely gorgeous work of art.

Congratulations on your new Bamboo Dragon, Brian. James makes a beautiful bow with great performance. I don't believe the boo on the back is scorched but I could be wrong. He does heat treat(temper) his belly boo though for increased compression strength.
I also believe that James gives a life time warranty with all of his bows(his life!). Pat
Heat tempered works for me Pat. I stand corrected.
Thanks
Very nice Brian, you are up to what, 30 bows now??? I am starting to feel better, so maybe sometime this week you can bloody one on a bunny up here...
Saving up for the big one Jamie. I only have 6 bows. I'm trying to figure out what I really want to shoot. I pretty much have a good idea what I "really" want in a new bow, custom made to my specs. Once I make my final decision, I'll have a couple of nice bows to sell. You'll be the first to know Jamie. I'll probably keep a heavier hunting bow, a lighter target shooter (VArcher)
and some kind of nice wood bow(Dragon). That's the plan anyway. :readit: :saywhat:
Just make sure Im not still laid off when you decide to start selling! :biglaugh:
Brian : Congrats , nice looking bow  :clapper: :clapper:
