Tim Finley makes some really nice Kota bows. I just shot with him in a 3D shot this last weekend. He didn't have any of his t/d long bows with, however, I shot one of his prairie fire long bows. It was cut almost to center, 52# draw wgt, it shot very well. I might be looking at one of those made with zebra wood. Oh, and I did out shoot him too, hee hee
Tim makes some of the most beautiful and great performing bows around (he lives 30 miles south of me). A trip to his shop is kind of like Trad Disneyland.
I have him building me one of his Prairie Swift recurves of Bocote, and also have one of his TD recurves...
I bought one of his Prairie Swift recurves two years ago. I really like it! One of the nicest feeling hand grips of any bow I've held! Took a young buck the first year I hunted with it. I'm interested in the 3pc, longbow too!
I have had 2 of the Kota Prairie Nomad take down longbows. One was 51# and the other I still have is 46#. Both bows were finely made and shoot where you look. The 46# has accounted for 6 whitetails.
I have a new Kota takedown that I bought while at ETAR. Great bow. I love the handle and it shoots like a one piece bow. Workmanship is excellent and Tim was great to deal with. I would highly recommend this bow if you are looking for a takedown longbow.

I've got a 60" 60# Prairie Nomad and bought an extra set of 62" 38" limbs for it. Love it. Shoots great. I'm not as good of a hunter as Pickngrin, though!
Thanks for your input. looking at a trade for one that's 60". I have a 29" draw. just trying to get a feel for the lenght..... my bow now is 66"
