620gr out of both my recurve and longbows, recurve is 53# and the longbow is 54#.

670 out of my 57 lb Black Widow
My 3-Rivers "Thumb Scale" says 825g....35" woodie tipped with an Aboyer "Whitetail" for a 59#@32" Shrew CH and a 56#@32" ChekMate LB.
500-575 out of my 56@28 Kota Lb
540-630 out of a 54# recurve
600 - 700
600-700 grain woodies out of 52#-60# longbows.
This year I used 510 grains out of my 51# Kanati, but I think I'm going up to 600-650 carbons for next year. They seem to shoot well and should penetrate even better.
550 grains at whatever will stop
550-575 gr rivercane, 59# Osage selfbow.
I'm right around 490 myself out of 47#
561 grains out of my 61lb recurve.
If you're never taking anything except very close shots, I don't see much of a problem. If on the other hand, you do some spot and stalk and might be shooting out a bit, the improved trajectory might outweigh the penetration advantage. Can't believe you don't already shoot clean thru deer.
494grns with a 56# Morrison
With my bows listed in my signature, I shoot 553 grain aluminum arrows.
530 to 570 from 50#-55# recurves, depending on the arrow I'm using. Probably 90% of the time it's a 29.5" CXTH 4560 that comes in at 530 grains...
Ditto to Buckeye's set-up. Mostly, I shoot a 47# bow with a 490 grain arrow. However, since I tune a set of arrows to each bow, some of my arrows are up to 570 grains for bows ranging in poundage from 42# to 50#. The range is usually 10.5 GPP to 12 GPP with occasional slight variance at each end.
