Is there a way to calculate how to make two different arrows fly the same? How much weight to add to a 2016 to make it fly like a 1916 with a 125 grain point with both arrows cut to 29".
Thanks.

If both arrows are already cut to 29",just try some heavier points on the 2016 arrows.Thats the best way because you are trying to affect the dynamic spine. The spine on a 2016 is .531 and the 1916 is .623 at 28" centers plus they are slightly different diameters. You can try 145 and 175 gr. points and see how they fly,you can also use the 5/16" 5 gr. brass washers to do some fine tuning.
Mike:
There's about 8# difference in spine between those two shafts. And how they will perform will depend on how the shelf of your bow is cut. If its past center like a lot of modern bows I would suspect they will fly the same without any additional weight. If the bow is less than center try jumping the point wieght to 160 grs. To my knowledge there is no foumula for what you want too do.
