Of what a color do you like your feathers and Why?
Pink. Very very pink.
With yellow nocks :D
Mainly because I can see them a mile off! :D
I'll second that except I have orange nocks.
Anything barred. Yet I think I might have to go to the brighter colors soon.
White....
Yellow or orange, I can see them well in flight and I can find the arrow after the shot easier.
I shoot the Trueflight BRIGHT STRIPES in Orange-Chartreuse for visibility and have been really satisfied with them.
Two red barred and one grey barred, with a ruby red nock, or vice versa for about 20 years, but may be soon going brighter.
white so i can see the color of blood and see how long i should wait...
white or yellow...
Hi T-Gers, havent posted in along time, but my fav feather colors Purple and white.
I used to use Green and yellow for Camo. I lose to many arrows. I think Im switching to white.
White hens and barred cock with white nocks.
I usually use red barred hen feathers, and white barred cock feather with white locator nocks. Recently had a dozen built to match my wifes new Striker take down long bow with purple barred hen and white barred cock feathers and white locator knock.
FWIW, I had flourescent lime green feathers with one arrow nocked and 3 in my quiver. Had a button buck, spike and nice 6 pointer all within 8-20 yards of me while in treestand. The spike and 6 pointer had looked up at me once while passing. I was able to draw on them multiple times witout spooking so this color did not bother them. Was a calm autumn day within 1/2 hour of sunset.
White and yellow so I can see them easier. Have been thinking of other bright colors also lately. Gary
Either Flo yellow or BRIGHT pink! I like to see 'em hit!!
:campfire:
My practice arrows are 1 red and 2 white or 1 flo lime and 2 white. For hunting I like all 3 white. :archer:
2 Chartreuse and one Powder blue. There was a study done some years back and those two colors were found to be the easiest picked up in flight by the human eye. Shawn
anything bright
I like Green and Black. They are harder to find so I try not to miss as much. ;) I started splicing in a red stripe trying to make them easier to find.
I think I might need brighter colors..... maybe green and yellow.
Dan
Yellow and barred yellow with white nocks.

And yellow nocks too :bigsmyl:
2 Flo Pink 1 Chartreuse classic index nock flo green.
Two white and one natural barred with chartreuse signature nocks.
White and baby blue. Blue is easy to find on the ground, and easy to see in flight. Plus, lots of blue jays where I hunt so I figure it won't spook the deer?
orange, solid and barred.
3 white for my field points. 3 red for my broadheads. 3 yellow every once in a while. Always use white index nocks. I like to see the nock headed toward the target when they fly, but I guess a lot of us do.
Joe
2 red barred
1 blue barred
they show up nicley.
Traditional Barred. White nocks.
Pink at the moment but i think Yellow is better, going to change back.
Some barred
white and red with a ruby nock
or
white and bright yellow with a fluorescent green nock
It depends what bow and arrow combination that I'm using. Different spines are fletched different colors.
right now i shoot chartruse, but mainly because thats what the shop had in stock.
i do love barred feathers, but they cost ALOT more$$$$..
jamie
I shot all red this year (4" four fletch), with a red nock. Im switching to something lighter by next season though...had a problem tracking the arrow in low light situations.
It all depends on the shaft that it has to be put on.I know that a very few people make all their arrows the same. If you do that then your options are very limited. I try not to make all of them the same. None the less I always get my arrows back!!!!!!!!
White feathers with clear/black accunocks.
I like the real deal...of course white crown and nocks help see them in flight....natural camo works!

Yellow feathers, yellow nock and yellow cap dip. Bright as I can get them. Oh and black cresting kind of a bumble bee look.
All 3 barred natural. Shooting from the ground, the deer never saw it coming.
Red and black with some trad barred with white or pink fur tracers.
2 yellow, 2 trad barred, fluro lime and yellow nocks
Natural grey barred, browns, greys, black with a white tracer for deer.
Yellow, pink, orange for rabbit and squirrel.
Variety is the spice of life!

Yellow. Sometimes with a barred yellow cock feather. I see it in flight best.
Three 5.5" Yellow High Back's with white nocks. I am thinking about switching to all pink any opinions there?
Two yellow hens with a yellow barred with yellow knocks. I can see it well and it looks good IMO.
3 or 4 chartruse yellow with same color cap and nock.
Purple with white nocks - little hard to see at dusk but you be surprised how well the white nock shows.
White fletch almost got me killed done time. No more all white fletched arras!
J
Arrows for my light set of limbs:
red cock feather shield cut , 2 white hens shield cut, ruby nock,
red cap, blue from the cap to the point.
Real easy to find and see in flight.
Arrows for my heavier set of limbs:
yellow barred cock feather sheld cut, 2 white hens shield cut, yellow cap, golden oak stain from cap to point, pearl nock.

Exactly what I have and was going to mention. Thanks for doing it for me. :wavey:

Orange and yellow with a natural barred cock feather dyed, chopped to an Orca style.

I tend to like 2 natural barred and 1 white,
2 Brown barred and 1 red barred
2 Brown barred and 1 Black
2 natural barred and 1 Red barred
I don't care for bright colors. My bright set up is 2 Blue barred and 1 Black or white
High country, those are awesome

All orange. I don't like the bright white, walking through the woods in gun season. Even with hunter orange on, I don't like the chances of someone seeing that white in my hip quiver.
I have four combos that I like to use.
2 orange 1 black--Phillie Flyers hockey
2 gold/yellow 1 black--Pittsburg Steelers
2 red 1 white---Phillies
2 white 1 light blue---Penn State
I use the above for two reasons. One so I can find them when I am shooting and the other is everyone knows my arrow when they pull it. I guess also because all the teams listed above are my fav.
White feathers with white nocks, and a white wrap! ;) :D
Sometimes I will use grey barred as well...
I have been using chartruse. Although you can see them VERY well, with some of the new science coming out on what colors deer see(blues and yellows) I may change to orange. Over the past several years I have been busted in what I thought were well hidden stands. I'm wondering if the deer saw my yellowish fletchings. A good example of what I'm refering to can be seen on the Optimax camo videos.

All orange or all yellow. Those seem to be my lucky colors. Out of the two, I'd take orange for visibility.
Once in a while I get an itch to use all white, but I only make a couple of those every year.
I go 3 Yellow Barred. The yellow shows up in flight and on the ground after the shot but still has a camo look at distance. We have lots of wild turkeys here and archery turkey season is open all of fall just like archery deer season and those suckers will spot a superbright fletched arrow sitting on your bow shelf everytime while in a stand.
4 pinks or 4 yellows with yellow nocks if I can get them!
I'm surprised that I'm the first to say: blood stained.... :saywhat:
I love real barred turkey but we dont have them here so I usually use all white.
Pink or chartreuse lime green. Those show up better than anything. If a deer sees you move you are busted anyway.
I am happy with chartreuse or white. However, I got ahold of some ground full length turkey feathers and a friend and I dyed them chartruese. Sine I switched to a four fletch arrow I use two solid chartreuse and two dyed turkey feathers, or two white and two natural turkey feathers.
I love white but hunting I use some kind of camo waterproof socks so they are conceiled and dry
all white or flo yellow.. so i can see them and BLOOD..
