what do you shoot better with a glove or tab
I use a Super Archery Mitt. I think that probably puts me somewhere between the two. :D
SAM tab for me too!!!
Went to a tab a few years back. It amazed me how much better my release became.
A Bateman cordovan tab for me.
home made tab. wallaby leather
tab - I can wear it while also wearing gloves in cold weather.
I do like Sam, I wear a light or med wool glove and slide the tab right on over it. My hand stays warm and it shoots just like summer. The green surplus mil glove liners work great.
Missing middle finger to first joint , tab is the only way for me . :knothead:
I shoot a tab. I've tried several types of gloves and tabs, but have found that an inexpensive Neet hair-faced tab works the best for me. I find that a tab is easy to use, gives me a good release and feel of the string. I haven't tried the Super Archery Mitt yet..... probably will soon.
American Leathers Big Shot Glove.

I shot a glove for years (killed a lot of deer too), but use a tab now. I found that without realizing it, while using a glove, I sometimes held the string with more pressure on my index finger, then sometimes realized I held more pressure with my middle finger. Don't know what made that happen and it's probably just me,,,, but it did affect my release differently each way.
Using a tab eliminated that problem for me. I also like being able to wear a glove and tab at the same time when it's cold.
Also, I bought some leather and make my own tabs which gave me the chance to experiment with different designs and thickness until I settled on the one I use now...

It's the only one I'll use. New ones are hard to break in but once broken they are great.

I normally use a 3R Dura but I made a tab with the same properties for the colder days.
Damascas glove,luv it. :archer:
Used a tab for a long time but then got a Damascus glove as a gift and really love it. Has improved my shooting. I think I hold better

Cavalier Elite tab - love it, bought two extras incase I loose my primary.
SAM tab here too.
I am a glove guy and the best one I have found is the Skookum Glove with the MegaTuff synthetic material on the finger tips. The glove is soft enough to feel the string and the Megatuff finger tips are smooth/slick to release the string across. The Damascus glove is my second favorite it's cheap and a very nice glove also.
Bare fingers on warm days, single shot hunting, otherwise a good deer skin glove
I am just amazed that so many people use a tab. I couldn't use one if you paid me. I torque the string a little the way I shoot and a tab just won't allow me to do that.
I have found the deerskin (light tan) gloves made by grizzley to be just perfect for me.
Poll results are a lot closer than I thought they would be.
I use a Damacus glove for now. I would like to try and use a tab so that I could wear a glove while hunting in colder weather.

I shoot a calf hair tab. Gives me a cleaner release.
3 fingers under tab for me.
i figured it wouldnt be this close.....
Cavalier tab here.

Big Shot glove. I love a tab, but got where I dug my anchor so hard into the corner of my mouth as I pulled through the release, the string started ripping my lip and nose tip up. The glove works perfect....but thankfully, we are all different!
american bigshot glove for me. Tried tabs, just not for me.
Havent been doing it long but started with a damascas glove and then went to a tab and could tell a big help in my release. So tab for me
Home made tab out of 2 layers of cow hide.
Damascus glove but right now experimenting with 3 rivers No-Gloves.
bare fingers when hunting, neet calf hair/widow tabs or thin glove when stumping.
I use a glove now, but have been thinking of going to a tab here lately.

Superglove, damascus for a back up. Want to try a bigshot soon.
