Thought I would share this idea with you.
First off, I like to rove and stump shoot. That way, even if I come home empty-handed, which is pretty much all of the time, I've still had a good day of exercise and some fun shooting at random targets with a rubber blunt point. But I like to keep a snaro or judo point in reserve if I do see something small and edible worth shooting at. I find judos are a little hard to get in and out of my side stalker quiver and snaros? Well, forget it. Up until a while ago, I simply carried two arrows in one hand. When I wanted to shoot at a target, I'd let one fall to the ground, take my shot, pick up the arrow and go and retrieve the shot arrow. I don't like bending over any more than I have to, so I came up with this idea:
I picked up a dozen metal arrow clips from 3 Rivers Archery (funny how these guys always seem to have just what a fella needs), a couple of brass Chicago Bolts (aka "screw posts" or "bookbinders posts") some strips of leather and went to work.

It may look cumbersome but it works. Note: I live in a treeless land so snagging is not an issue. I can't say whether or not this would work well in bush country. Maybe, Maybe not.
Others out there may have come up with something else or something better (if so, please share your ideas with me, I am always looking to improve) but this is the best I could think of at the time and it works well for me. I always have an arrow in quick reserve and I don't have to bend over as much.
Couple of installation notes: the two clips should be mounted a little over 4 fingers' width, no more. This way, you can remove and place the arrow in the clips by feel and not be fumbling around. The clips are best mounted with screw posts as these have a slot at either end and can be removed with a swiss army knife, which pretty much all outdoorsmen carry!

I like it too. When I was bird hunting, I kept my arrows on the bow quiver, but the Snaros in a fanny pack. I screwed them on the arrows 1 at a time. I knew I would only have 1 shot at a time, so that worked OK. I think I remember keeping 3 flu flus for Snaros and 5 targets. My Bear bow quiver held 8 arrows.
