I live in Sapulpa, what do you have in mind?

I'm interested in Oklahoma City. Lets hear what you have in mind.
-
Sounds good,two in Shawnee. D.
-
I am up near Jesse and Daren (in Claremore), and have 3 or 4 trad. hunting buddies in the area.
We try to make as many of the Trad. 3-d shoots as we can (we don't compete, just pay for a fun round or two).
We also make a few bows so OJAM in March is a must for us. Any of you attended?
We are all in. What's the plan?

-
I'm in Broken Arrow/Tulsa. Lets go!!!
-
Looking at the picture on Paul's profile gave me an idea.
We should try and set up a hog hunt somewhere. I have hunted them up on Keystone Lake (public land no less), but they are fairly scarce and its a hard hunt. Fun, but tough.
Any one have suggestions?
Okkeith
-
Heyburn wma has them too.Used to be quite a few and not to bad to hunt.I haven't been there in a while but I'm fairly sure they are in the same places.I can make a few calls and find out,Jesse. :goldtooth: Its just a few miles from keystone.
-
We need a date to start with. How bout Jan 30th.
-
Too bad you guys can't live in the middle of God's Country here in the southeast part of the state. How far would that be from me?
-
Still close to Oklahoma and hunt with a group of 6 stickbow shooters in Caddo... :) Tradman-OKC
-
Jan. 30th is a Friday. We might get more people commited if its on a weekend, like say the 31st.
-
oops I was thinkin it was a saturday, yep the 31st.Lets get this baby rollin.I know several more guys that are interested. With the ones in ok city and around here I figured heyburn for hog huntin is about in the middle.I know the area and there are quite a few hogs,Jesse.
-
Jesse,
I used to hunt Heyburn quite a bit. I even had a lease across the road from the waterfowl refuge back in 96.
Didn't know there were any hogs there. I've been chasing them around Cherokee and Gruber public land in Eastern Ok for the last couple of weeks, lots of sign but no hogs yet.
Daren
-
I've hunted them on the southwest side of the lake.A buddy of mine has taken some monsters out of there also hunted them with dogs with a lot of sucess(spellin).I'm open to where ever yall want to go.If you dont mind Daren I'd like to go with you sometime,Jesse.
-
Jesse,
Sent ya a PM
Daren

I'm from Westville and if i can get away i will go.

Lots of responders, how about a date/place?
-
Man Im glad everyone chimed in. I threw out the idea because I think it would be great to meet everyone but im not that great at throwing out ideas. anyways im game for whatever works for the majority.Lets go!
-
About anytime works for me,Jesse.
-
Archenemy,
You bet, I gotta get in the woods. Jesse69 may also be going.
Sent you a pm.
Daren
-
Let me get to the office on Monday or so to check my calander.
I didn't know there were hogs on Heyburn either and my folks live right next to it. Live and learn, huh?
OkKeith
-
Alright guys we kinda got this rolling with out you all.
I went to Cherokee Friday with Jesse69 and my son . I shot my first wild hog right at dark.
We were unsure of the hit so we marked the spot and left. Went back this morning with my son, best friend Russell, Russell's dad Doyle and new friend Archenemy. My son found my hog about an hour after daylight she went about 80 yards. I hit her about where I thought I did but she was angling towards me I got her liver. Glad I decided to let her lay overnight.
This evening my best friend Russell shot a good boar right at dark, we decided to let him lay up tonight and get him in the morning.
Daren
-
YEE HAW goin again tommorrow!!!!!!!! :archer: :archer:
-
Is the 31st the date
-
Hey bloodyarrow,I would like to see this come together but have not seen a lot of response.I've been huntin with Daren(stick_n_string) and we are heavy into the hawgs,Jesse.
-
That's right. Jesse has been a couple times with us and Archenemy went Saturday morning.
We went back this morning Jesse69, Russell and myself. Russell and I sat where he shot his hog Saturday evening for about an hour then went to see if we could find it.
He wasn't exactly sure where he left off on the blood trail so we paralle'd the hill trying to cut blood, we hadn't gone 50 yards into the brush when I looked ahead and could see a hog laying about 30 yards in front of us. I checked it out with my bino's and could tell the hog was laying on his side.
We made our way up to the hog, it was a nice boar
Russell had been within 50 yards of him last night, it was getting dark and he wasn't exactly sure of the hit so he backed out. Turned out the hit although not ideal, was lethal. The hog turned just as Russell released, the arrow caught the hog in the left ham and penetrated up into the vital's. The hog traveled about 80 yards after the shot.
It's been a lot of fun meeting and hunting with Jesse 69 and Archenemy. I'm looking forward to hunting more often with them and others that we meet here on the gang!!!!!

I just want to say thanks to Daren for lettin' me tag along. Got to hunt a new place with a great bunch of guys. I definately want to go again.
As far as the Jan. 31st hunt goes I can't make any commitments at this time. My wife is gong to be induced on the 26th for our baby girl! Yea, its about time. We are going to name her Easton except spell it Eastyn. I would love to go with you all, but again I can't promise anything yet.
Daren tell Russell congrats on his hog. Sounds like you found the right location. Guys he is correct. There was more hog sign there than I've ever seen in one spot.
Archemeny
-
Thanks Archenemy,
You are more than welcome to go any time you can get away. Just give me a call.
We are going to let that area rest for a week or so, then hit it again.
Jesse saw several deer Sunday morning, including a really nice 8 pointer. Just couldn't get close enough to get a shot.
Daren
-
Ok guys, whats up?????
Are we gonna get togather and shoot some targets, rabbits, squirrels, or something.
Daren
-
Has there been a place, time and date set yet for a get together? Look's like I'll be abel to make it.
-
Daren I mominate you to be the cordnator of this event. We have enough indians, now we need a cheif.
-
Hey guys, I'm in northwest Arkansas and using the 412 tollroad I can get to the Tulsa area in a couple hours. Where is this Hog hunt taking place? Is it near Lake Keystone, I know where thats at. How about hog killing, does that take out of state license or like Mo. you don't need one for hogs?
-
arklongbowman,
You do need to have a non-res. hunting license, I looked at the reg's and the 5 day is sufficient but it went up to $70!!!
We've been hunting at Cherokee Public hunting area. It's down by Talequah.
That's fine by me. I'll throw out some date's and you all give me some feed back.
BTW here's a picture of the hog I shot on the 9th at Cherokee: (http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww247/Stick_N_String/786084-R1-02-1A.jpg)
-
Oh, I forgot the date!!!
how about Feb. 7th and/or 8th????
When is the Super Bowl??? I won't be able to go that weekend.
Daren
-
Superbowl is on the 8th. Everybody knows what the 14th is right. Maybe the 21st or 22nd?
Paul
-
Congrats on the hog Daren. I don't live to far from there but haven't had a chance to go lately. I'll try to make it on whatever date is set.
-
I am hoping this will not be the only time we do this. So far all the dates have not been good for me. In and out of town for work and such.
You guys all get together and figure out where the best place is and I will show up and show all ya'll how to miss!
Seriously... I hope all of you can get together. We have needed to try and do this for a while.
Those of us in the NE part of the state (or any where else for that matter) is there a place out at Oolagah where we could meet up on a Sat afternoon and set up a short 3-d or a simple target range to fling arrows at?
OkKeith
-
Whoa Daren runnin over the hawg with your truck doesn't count, lol.Just kiddin,I had a blast huntin with yall.Anytime on those dates should work for me,JESSE. :goldtooth:
-
Guys, I'll be without my computer 'till Monday morning. Talk to yall then. Have a great weekend and post pics to this weekends hunt Daren. I know your gunna kill something.
Paul
-
Ok,
The first weekend in Feb is out so is the 14th
so lets shoot for the 21st/22nd. I'm going hog hunting see ya all Sunda afternoon.
Daren
-
What happened to the 31st of Jan? Feb is out for me. Is there a location decided on? I think it should be somewhat central for the folks around OKC (like the guy that started this) Heyburn or DeepFork may be good.
-
Daren! "Good" on ya man! Way to go!
Sounds like you are putting another hunt together. 21/22 Jan or Feb.? Where? Time? Meeting spot?
I, like most, have some commitments, but I'd love to hook up with ya'll.
Dingus,
Edmond, OK
-
I'm in for the 22nd if it's open invite...just jumped in on the end of the thread. let's do it. i'm in pawhuksa, ok
-
It's looking like the 21st/22nd of Feb. I had already commited to hunt Cherokee Jan. 24th and 25th. IF anyone here wants to join us, you are more than welcomed to. Just let me know and we'll meet up somewhere along the way.
As for where, anywhere around Heyburn or Keystone.
I also just got some info from the processor I use, about a place towards Hominy that's private and is over run with hogs, he says the land owner will let any who ask's, shoot all the hogs they want.
I'll try to contact him this week and see how many he'll let come on his place.
BTW:
We got back from the Boar's nest late last night, 5 of us brought home 5 hogs.
I'll post some pic's after I get the film developed.
Jesse got a 100# sow
Russell got a 100# sow
Brannon got a 125# boar
Jeremy (son of Stick_N_String) got a 200# sow and a 50# sow.
I didn't shoot anything. Passed on several hogs and Had a great time.

I would love to get together with you guys sometime, but I will be gone the last half of February. Maybe some other time when people are getting together. Thanks for the invitation.
Nice pigs guys!!
Allan
-
Daren passed! You must have been waiting on tusks! Daren I might be able to go this Saturday if you don't mind.
Also Feb. 21st looks good for me too.
Congrats to your crew for makin' some bacon.
Archenemy
-
Hey Archenemy,
Wish you could have made the trip!!!
I was looking for a certain boar, saw him twice just never could close the deal.
Then after my son shot his second one I wasn't sure we'd have room in the freezer for another one.
Let me know about this weekend, There's always room for ya!!!!
Daren
-
Had a blast!!! :archer: :archer: :clapper:
-
Hey Guys, I am Brian from Clinton which is in Central Western OK. I have been reading the thread and this all sounds like a blast. Not sure if I will make it in Feb but I will plan to try to make it in the future.
-
Hello Brian :wavey:
I'm hoping that we can all get togather several times a year. I'm looking at some 3-D shoots mainly trad shoots, where we can all get togather. One i'd like to see everyone make is the Great Southern Plains shoot at Mcalester.
I'm also working ( in my head right now ) on getting something togather in Texas. I'd like to do something like the Texas vs. Oklahoma shoot out but instead of 3-D make it a hog hunt.
Who all would be interested in doing something like that????
Daren
-
i'm in for all of the above at any time! thought i'd go crazy once deer season ended but this could be just the ticket. i love any hunting, 3d, or just meeting people. i'm also through hominy quite often if you'd like me to look up that land owner for you. let me know, daren.
-
Daren, room for a couple at cherokee this weekend. My partner and I talked about it . THANX D.
-
Daren, I'll try to find out tonight if I can go Saturday. I may have to trade this weekend for the hunt in Feb. My wife is getting nervous about having the baby and doesn't want me to go very far for any length of time.
Paul
-
Okay, I'm out for this weekend, but definately in for Feb 21st and 22nd no matter where its at. Looking forward to meeting you guys.
Paul
-
Maddawgd,
sent you a pm.
Hey Paul,
If your luck is like mine you'd get way down there in those ridges, your wife would go into labor, and you'd miss the whole thing. :scared:
Then you'd end up sleeping on the couch for the next year. :banghead:
-
I would like to second that on darens luck.lol
-
Thanks Jesse!!!!
You going to be able to go this weekend or are you still recouperating from last weekend??
Daren
-
Been following this one and I too would like to tag along with you guys on one of these. Mispent alot of my youth roaming around Cherokee back in the day
-
Not sure yet g-mas surgery is friday. :archer:
-
WEll,looks like I'll be working Friday evening so it will be Saturday morning before I can get back to Cherokee.
Daren
-
Well, where are we going to meet Feb 21?
-
Brain, sent you a pm.
rbbhunt, I'm working on that one.Tomorrow I'll be talking to the processor that's cutting up our hogs from last weekend, he was telling me about a gentleman over at Hominy that has a place that's overrun with hogs and is practically begging people to come shoot them. I'm hoping we can get permission to get on his place.
Daren
-
Private land around Hominy would be great, there's a lot of hogs in the area.
-
Daren let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out. Maybe we can meet with land owner. If it all works out we should all pitch in and get him a gift card to his favorite resturant, or something like that.
Archenemy
-
Paul, that's a great idea. I'll post in a little bit, I'm leaving right now to pick up my hogs.
Daren
-
Daren. I'll be away from my pc for possible a week. I'll call you in a couple of days for an update if thats okay. Good luck this weekend.
Paul
-
Paul,
Yeah give me a call!!
I don't know if I'm going to be able to shoot my bow, I dropped a heavy part on my left hand this evening and I can't even make a fist!!!! :banghead:
Daren
-
The high is going to be 35 tomorrow! I went to Cherokee today to look around today. Never been there before. Man are there some rough roads and terrain in there. Got a flat tire crossing a shallow creek.
I didn't see any hog sign but lots of deer and turkey sign. I saw two bald eagles there too. Very cool!
Hope your hand is ok Daren!
-
Bald Eagles, that is cool!!!! I've never seen an Eagle there before.
Do you remember what creek you were crossing when you got a flat???
The hand is feeling better, I can make a fist now but I can't put any pressure on my palm.
-
I'm thinking it was greenleaf creek. It was just a sharp rock. My tires are pretty thin. I was on theeast end of White Oak road.
-
Razorsharptokill,
Sent you a pm
Daren
-
Darren,any luck sunday.Dewayne
-
Hello Dewayne, We didn't see any hogs but we saw quite a bit of fresh sign. I'm going to go Saturday ,that's the last day that the refuge is open. If I think I can get in to the area I've been going. When this ice thaws out I may not be able to get in there with my 2 wheel drive.
If not I'm going to go over to Hominy and see if I can get permission from some of the landowners around the river.
Daren
-
counting down till the 21st of Feb! So excited
-
Has a place been selected for the February 21st hunt?
-
not yet, I'm still trying to come up with some private land for us to look for some hogs on.
I have a couple leads over by Hominy that I'm going to check out this weekend.
I'm really trying to keep it between Tulsa and OKC that way it will be easier for everyone that wants to show up.
If anyone has info on hogs somewhere between here and there please step up. Or we could do rabbits, I'm not picky, just want to meet some new people and shoot my bow.
Daren
-
Daren, I think we need to check "your spot" at Cherokee now that the snow and ice has stopped. I bet they are hungry!
I talked to a kid at the McDonalds on the way back home last Sunday, he asked what I was hunting and he said there are lots of hogs around Porter just South of there. Might head over there and ask around.
-
Hey Jim,
What's going on??? Yeah I really like that spot and I'm planning on going one day this weekend.
There are a lot of hogs around the Arkansas river and the Navigation channel south of Wagoner, I know a guy that has permission to hunt an area East of 69 hwy around the lock and dam. I've been trying to get a hold of him we've been playing phone tag. Jim if you can get away this weekend let me know.
Daren
-
I hope that you guys can locate something between OKC and Tulsa for this hunt because I would like to come if at all possible. Cherokee and Porter would be across the state for me if that's where you decide to hunt. I'll keep watching this post to see where this event will take place.
Greg
-
Hey Greg,
You know where any hogs are on Black Kettle????
I used to come out there and Turkey hunt in the spring but I haven't been out there in several years. I'd like to come out there this spring and try to get a turkey with my recurve.
Daren
-
Darren the 21st is a done deal, just not where? DeWayne.
-
Daren,
I haven't seen any hogs on the areas of Black Kettle I've hunted but I hear that there are some around Reydon. I know that there are some in the northern part of the county up by the river. As for turkeys there are plenty around here. I saw some yesterday coming back from Reydon about 2:30 p.m. Let me know if you plan on coming out this spring and maybe I can put something together.
Greg
-
Dewayne the 21st is solid. Just not sure what or where I'm open to ideas.
Guys I'm easy, I'll drive across the state to hunt or shoot doesn't really matter. Is there anything closer to OKC what about Lexington does anyone know anything about it.
Greg,
Thanks we'll definetly have to do that.
I've also hunted Packsaddle, Cooper and Ft. Supply but it's been years ago.
I've also heard some great things about Beaver River and Optima I plan on checking them out this summer I really want to get a nice Muley buck with my recurve.
Daren
-
Hey guys! Daren, hows your hand? Are you back to shooting? Well I guess you know by now that the Super Bowl is this Sunday and not the 8th like I posted at the begining of this thread. I don't know what I was thinking. Stupid me I guess.
Can't wait to see where this hunt is going to take place.
Paul
-
Hey Paul, the hands good to go. I didn't break any thing just felt that way. I was shooting the next day it hurt but, "no sacrifice no glory" LOL!!!!
Daren
-
I can probably get away some time this weekend. I have a buddy that is just getting into traditional and he's wanting to get out some where too. Rabbit, hogs, spoonbill,(heard they are moving up the rivers) whatever sounds good. I'm on midnights and get off work at 8:00 a.m. sat. morning.
-
Sorry I haven't been on in a few days, my internet and phone have been down since early Friday morning.
Ok guys here's the deal I'm going to Heyburn this coming weekend. A couple of people that I know live in the area and confirmed that the hogs are there. I have a couple different area's that I'm going to look at. There are also a ton of Rabbits on the area so we should be able to find something to fling some arrows at.
February 21st at Heyburn public Hunting area.
Does anyone know of a good place close to that area where we could all meet and maybe have a little breakfast before the fun starts????
Also lets get a head count of who's for sure going to make it.
Daren
-
We could meet somewhere in sapulpa to muster and eat.I know the heyburn area pretty well.I haven't been there in a while but I'm sure I could get us in the hogs fairly quickly,Jesse.
:archer:
-
I'm in! Looking forward to meeting the rest of you guys.
Paul
-
i'm in too. might bring a friend
-
YEEEHAAAAWWW, It's on
Hey Justin bring 'em on. The more the merrier.
Looking forward to meeting you guys.
Daren
-
in that case might bring both my friends!
-
There's C-store at Hwy 33 and 48 that is real close to the hunting area. Might be a good place to meet. The guys coming from the west won't have to backtrack any. I afriend talked to the game warden for the area an he welcomes people to come out and kill some hogs.
-
Good luck guys! I loved hunting again in Oklahoma! If it wasnt 8 hours away I'd come down again, good weather, hogs, snakes, deer etc... what more could you ask for?
-
I am in for two,can not wait.DeWayne
-
Hey Dewayne glad to hear from you. I've been having trouble with my phone and internet, hopefully after tomorrow all will be fixed.
RightTrailWrongTime I enjoyed your report from The Tabletop Mountain ranch. hoperfully we can do this a couple times a year I'd be gla d to have you join us.
Rbbhunt, I know where you're talking about and that would be a good place, it's right off the turnpike at the Sapulpa exit, right??
Alright guys this thing is steamrolling!!!!! this may be my last post for a day or so till they get my internet and phone going again.
Sounds like this is going to be a blast!!!!!
Daren
-
Anybody else going? Chime in and we'll a head count.
-
The C-store is just a little ways north of the turnpike. Easy to find. I think I'll be there with a couple of friends. Has a meeting time been set yet?
-
Hey guys I live in west Tulsa. About a mile form the old turnpike gate.
Not going to be able to hunt this weekend, but am looking forward to getting the lowdown from you guys after your getogether
Have fun & good luck!!
Keath
-
Hey Okies!! Don't forget about OJAM. March 19-22, 2009. More info at www.ojam.org. (http://www.ojam.org.)
-
Rbbhunt,
I was thinking of the one on 66 and 33.
I know which one you're talking about.
That sounds good they serve some breakfast sandwiches and stuff. What time does it get daylight??? I think we need to meet about a half hour or so before good light.
Keath, hopefully we can do this a few times a year. I'd like to put another hunt togather this fall for deer and hogs.
Daren
-
I would really like to be there on the 21st to meet the guys who will be there and do some hunting, but I will be visiting my son who lives in Italy on that date. I hope to get with all of you another time. Best wishes for a great time and good hunting!
Allan
-
Sun up is 7:20, so maybe we ought to meet about 6:30.
-
Weather permitting my son, his hunting buddy, and myself will be there.
Greg
-
Alright guys 6:30 it is.
The wife and I went to Heyburn Friday evening for a while, I found some hog sign that looked fairly fresh when I get a chance I'll post some pics.
Daren
-
You don't have to walk far at Heyburn to get fresh sign!
Good luck guys!
-
This is awesome!! im glad yall took of with this post. I cant make the 21st but would love to make the next one. If yall are game to travel south my buddies have been getting into hogs around Lebenon, which is down around Texoma. there are hogs all over down south here. Magicman, may be we can do the next one down around Texoma. I'll travel any where to hunt!!!! LOL.
Jim, I'll send you a pm.
Daren
-
Okay, meeting at 48 & 33 at 6:30am on Feb.21st. Is this a Saturday hunt only or staying for Sunday too!
-
probably depends on the hog action for me...not opposed to making the drive twice
-
Cam and Sandy, are you guys going or going out to help Doug?
-
Hey Archenemy,
If we can get into some good hog action I'm up for both days.
Justin, is that a Mcalester depot buck in your avitar??????
Where you comin from in Texas???
Daren
-
that is a McAlester buck. and i'm actually living in pawhuska now. just never updated my profile on here. looking forward to hunting with you guys!
-
I thought that tree looked familiar LOL!!!!
I used to lease some property off of Dick Serber 10 miles norhteast of Pawhuska.
Daren
-
i hunt about 2 miles northeast of town. dick was a good man. ever kill any good bucks up here?
-
Naw, The guys I leased with shot everything in sight. I did see one of the biggest bucks I've ever laid eyes on across the fence on Redcorns property.
We did shoot a lot of does, matter of fact I was on that lease for 2 years and never killed a buck.
There are some good bucks in that area.
I've been hunting up the road at Osage rock Creek unit for several years, we have taken some nice bucks off that place.
Daren
-
Daren, sent you a pm.
-
Randy..
No, man, I'm not going to make it. My mom had a stroke last week and I haven't got back to McAlester to see her since last sunday, so I'm going to go down and see how she's doing.
I still got those arrows for you, Mike said we may be shooting in Sapulpa at JP on tuesday, so I'll throw em in the truck and we'll make the hand off.

I've been out of town for the last 2 weeks and just read the updates. I'll be there. Got a hunting buddy who would probably like to come too but he still needs training wheels on his bow..... does anyone object?
-
no objections here. i'm all for it.
where is rock creek unit from pawhuska?
-
Rock Creek is 14 miles north of Pawhuska, I've been hunting it for years.
-
Hey Brian no objections from me, My son may be carrying his wheels this weekend.
Justin if you go straight North up 99 a few miles past the Hwy 60 junction you'll see a big brown sign on the right hand side of the road turn there and it takes you right to it.
Looks like the weather this weekend is going to be pretty good.

Hey Daren. Its going good. Busy at work and busy at home. I'm getting cabin fever really bad. Can't wait to get to the "spooky forest" as my 2 year old would call it.

What kind of bow will you be hunting with? Longbow or recurve and what make?
Greg
-
For me recurve, Checkmate Hunter II around 47# at my draw length of 27" Shooting Ash arrows @ 29" long with 150 grain Hunter 2 blade broadheads.
-
Paul, we've actually started to slow down a little. Thank goodness, I'm getting tired of all the overtime.
-
I'll be shooting an H2 also/ 55lbs with Snuffer tipped aluminum arrows. My buddy, Clay, will be shooting some spaceship lookin wheelie bow with all the trimmins.
-
I'll be shooting either a Samick Verna longbow 64" #50@28 or Crow Creek Blackfeather longbow 62" #50@28" and Grizzly Stik Sitkas with 125gr. Magnus Stinger BH. My son will be shooting 60" Predator recurve #45@28" and his buddy 58" Red Wing Hunter #43@28".
-
i'll be shooting an acs longbow that is 49# @ 25" and 600gr carbon express with stos broadheads
-
Bear Super Kodiak 50# at 28" drawing at 29". Beman MFX Classics with 100gn brass insert and 145gn 2-blade.
-
Or Snuffer... I use both.
-
I just saw this thread.
Is this hunt full?
I rarely kill anything so I probably won't interfere with anyone's hunt.
Is there a turnpike exit close to the meeting spot?
Bow: either an osage selfbow or a Lonetree Ocelot longbow.
-
The more the merrier. Which turnpike are you taking. I think there is an exit on the Cimarron for HWY48 and go south to 33. Or from the Turner take the Bristow exit and go north to 33.
If there is an easier way I sure someone will chim in. The map I'm looking at is about 10 years old. HaHa.

Thank Paul
Turner Turnpike.
I found the spot.
-
work had me tied up with my crane so i missed the hunt. So how did the hunt go waiting to here from someone
-
No hogs to be found. Lots of rabbit hunters though. Saw a few deer and meet some great people. Looking forward to getting together again. There was talk of hitting the 3d shoots around.

For you guys that missed Saturday, As archenemy said, we didn't find any hogs but saw a few deer and met some great people.
We did talk about hitting some of the 3-D shoots coming up in the next month or so.
Stay tuned for more info.

Okay guys. As most of you know already OJAM is from March 19 through the 22. The 3d course is free this year, so if nothing esle come and shoot the course. Backwoods Bowhunters and Okmulgee County Bowhunters are both having a shoot the weekend after that. I know I'm hitting OJAM and most likely Okmulgee's shoot. Hope to see some of you there.
