Post by: Archersteve on January 05, 2009, 02:26:00 AM
Does any one have the skinny on these new arrows from 3 rivers archery? What kind of quality? Who makes them? Etc...
Thanks

I would call or email them with the questions you have. What better way to get an answer than from the horses mouth.

looks to me like they are made by Beman.
In the add description it states a ICS photofusion finish. Along with that the per inch grain weight is the same as the Beman ICS Camo/wood grain hunter arrows.
I have shot the Beman ICS for a couple of years. Nice arrow

Hey guys! Glad to hear your interest in the new "Traditional Only" carbon arrows. They are made by Easton, and weigh slightly more than the Beman ICS Bowhunters that we sell. They are a great arrow with the 5/16" diameter, beautiful wood grain finish and impressive strength.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them here or through PM.

I just wanted to add, thank you for selling them in a 6 pack.

I want the pretty wood grain and perfect straightness for my hunting arrows. But I don't need a dozen of them to hunt with.

But for my practice arrows I don't need to spend the extra $$$ over my regular cheap ICS.

Beman ICS shafts are very nice -- high quality and durable. I've been shooting them for several years now. I couldn't find the wood grain ones on 3 Rivers' site, but I'm guessing they should go for around $30/6 since the ICS Classics average around $60/dozen for raw shafts.
