Mine are to get more bows into kids hands. To mentor. Hunt with some Trad Gangers I've never hunted with before.
And of course to shoot as many bows I haven't tried yet as I can get my hands on LOL!
What are your resolutions Trad Archery-wise?
-
get better binoculars. And more importantly use them.
Been busted by too many deer within bow range this year that I just didn't even see. I need more time behind the glasses.
-
learn how to tell "the rest of the story" in a ghillie suit. Got the "getting close" part down. Now I need to be able to figure out how to get it done while that close. I also want to develop a longbow form for a childs bow and maybe get some made for a few kids.

Continue to improve my shooting, go on a hunt with some other trad hunters, make a selfbow, HUNT MORE!!!
-
All of the above.
-
I want to qualify for the Empire State Games, recurve, and be competitive when I get there.
-
I'd like to do a better job supporting you as far as getting more bows into kids hands......I also have a couple of friends here I am trying to get to shoot trad bows, and another I am just plain trying to teach to hunt. Other that that, I will do my best to make an out of state hunt too.

Gonna start on Saturday, deer hunting New Jersey Winter Bow with some Trad Gangers I've only met on this site. That's Cool!
Plan on spending more time stump shooting and small game hunting outa my house in the Catskills with some buddies I've made thru the years. That's Fun!
Most of all..... Make sure I "earn" this time away from the woman who makes me who I am. Love Is A Wonderful Thing!

Shoot more and become proficient.
-
Simply to spend far more time in the woods. :archer:
-
This is a tough one, but not to hunt again til i get my RN license.I've been struggling for 3 years to get it, but can't stay out of the woods. Time to get serious!!!!
-
Number one on my list is to get my son to try taking his hunter safety test so he can hunt with me.
Number two is to have as much fun in the woods as I had this year.
Number three is to introduce a new person to archery.
-
To not be so condescending to stupid people.
-
i will try to do more for others as others have done so much for me.
-
to all ways give my best in all i can do for all
-
Practice...practice...practice...and hopefully connect on my first ever. :bigsmyl:

To take more and "better" photo's.

My resolutions for this year are to spend more time in the woods with my bow, more time stream side with my fly rod, and more time in my wood shop. Same resolutions that I had last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, and the......

To get back into shooting and bowhunting again.
The people on tradgang has been an inspiration to get back to something I had enjoyed for so many years. I feel the fire :campfire:
-
George... what will I do without a mentor..
Take more pics, hunt more, take more time off to do the first 2
-
Hunt more, fish more. Spend more time in the mountains.
-
practice more - miss less.
-
Spend more time hunting off the ground and taking time after the kill to reflect and relax rather than drag it out right away and get to butchering. I tend to take my deer from the woods to the freezer in a hurry and don't think about the whole picture as much as I should.
-
Mine is to get back seriously into trad and get another deer with the curve this year.
We should meet up some time vermonster and have a shoot or something....it's not like we live 2 hours away.
-
to continue my journey, harvast my first deer and spend more time in the woods
-
I only just started shooting bows a few month ago, so my realistic year will be getting accurate and consistent and building my muscles up to be able to handle heavier bows.
I just got my full membership of NFAS in UK so will probably doing some open shoot competitions to see how i'm progressing.
As for hunting, hoping to pass my IBEP course sometime this year with the British Bowhunters Association.

To find ways to share the spirit and values embodied in traditional archery with more people, more often.
Happy New Year, Everyone.

-
To share some space out west with the "Wapiti".
-
Hope that Wannabe1 and Manny718 get there first deer. Get a few wheelie hunters to try traditional. And to shoot the first deer i see cause it might be the last one.
-
Improve my PHOCUS!!! Follow through. Spend a bit more time in the woods, its tough when you're limited to weekends. Continue to try to get my sons involved again.
George, it can be tough.
<")))>< Michael

Never to miss again. In reality I have the same goals as every year.Spend more time with family and friends making lifelong memories.
-
Lose some weight and become a better hunter.
-
Billy....you aint one of them. :saywhat: Looking forward to your next stop in Breezewood.
:archer:
-
To stop buying bows, and shoot the one's I have.
This will be harder than stopping drinking
-
Izzy, I never saw you miss!!! I should also stop buying bows and build some. But bow shopping is so much fun.
-
I commited to this a few weeks back but; I'll start putting more effort into the little details of the bows I build. the pre finishing steps mainly but also the tips, fades, grips, all the little stuff that mostly I notice,

onebwhtr just remember what would he think about you stopping hunting? Get a deer next year and dedicate it to him. My condolences.
-
Get my kids into trad shooting and in the woods to learn more about scouting and set up some blinds for them to hunt from and let them shoot there first deer with the bow
-
Since we rertired back home to Montana, my sons spend little time in the woods. Got to get them to do more outdoors.
Also I need to learn more about this computer stuff. Especially posting digital pics. I belong to several sites and there are so many good pictures. My kids have the cameras and the computer savvy - maybe we can make a deal!!!
-
lose weight and recover quick from my next opp so i can get back to shooting my bow. and save save save for my next trip to the usa this year. the last one is going to be a hard one as the dollar is so week. but these things are sent to try us.
-
Spend quality time with my wonderful wife.
Take my daughter alligator hunting.
Take my younger son hunting in Wyoming and Indiana.
Try to get in better shape so I can enjoy my family and life.
Try to keep Jeff Holchin out of trouble by hunting with him.
Try really hard to NOT be the person George is condescending to! : )
