Whats the best looking leafy suit out there? Something that does a good job of breaking up the outline of a hunter.

3D leaf/rag whatever patterns, but most of all important match's background colors.
Best Case scenario is dang I can't see it. And I see in color :thumbsup:

My wife just gave me one for Christmas in a Realtree pattern. It's a good looking suit. I might try it out tomorrow morning.
I've had real success with the ASAT "Vanish Pro" 3D camo. Seems to do well in a wide variety of backgrounds, and I've gotten along well in ladder stands as well. I couldn't believe it, but I had a coyote pass 2 1/2 yards(!) from me sitting on my Nif-T-Seat against a tree about 10 days ago. Never expect to have it happen again, but it was an AMAZING experience. Hope to get a nice ghillie sometime, but this stuff works very well!!

I had a leafy suit I'd bought years ago...got busted a lot and stopped wearing it... saw the "shaggy suits" with the strings. Liked the idea of the lightweight, rot-proof "synthetic" threads.
Kept thinkin I could modify the "leafy" suit I had no faith in... with adding shaggy suit threads.
This is my effort. I didn't have much $$ to work with and my Dad suggested he'd buy me a few hanks for Christmas. I got 2 black and one grey. If deer see in B&W contrast...figured that was enough...

I see from having a neighbor take a pic this AM (might be fuzzy cause she was laughin so hard) :) that I have more work to do.
I was concerned with the left chest area and left arm due to the draw of the bow...and the right side of the head gear for anchoring...
The back (no pic) is much more dense strings. Might work...cause most deer come from behind me not-- down the trails I figured! :)

Wingnut, in his thread on suits, said to keep the chest more open on the draw side...and the arm...but I can see from the pics that I need to add some more in there.
I do believe it now is more apt to work...with $20 worth of the threads. I could add another color later to dense it up.
I like my ASAT 3D Pro Vanish a lot. I have worn ghillies and they are the best but they can be heavy, warm and cumbersome. So light weight, wear over anything comfort the ASAT 3D Pro Vanish is the best I have found. It offers everything, Ultimate concealment, packability and after you wash it a few times quiet. A decent price too.

I added more to the bow arm chest side... toward middle..some more to the draw arm...and a bit more to the head cover anchor side and top...but, kept it short.
Now I'm outa material...
stuff isn't priced high, but when it costs 75% of the material cost for S&H...I won't be ordering any more I guess!
I looked up your ASAT...but it was such a small picture and it wouldn't enlarge, I couldn't see the actual pattern! The real leafy suits today seem to have so many more leaves...the thing I had above was junk I got years back..just straight strips of leaves..with big mesh gaps between.
Least looks better I think. Maybe if the weather cooperates, I can try it out our 2nd season starting this week! :)
I use a Bug Tamer top with the 3-D leafs. Just about any bottom will do. Great in the hot & buggy early season. Got an XL which will fit over most of my hunting jackets so it becomes great in all weather - deer or turkey. Main thing is "be still" and move very slow if stalking (about 100yds/hr). I also use Fitzgeralds Deer Dander for a cover scent after dousing down with any of the popular scent killers.
