Being from Michigan, late season can be pretty cold.
But if I wear warm gloves, I notice that arrow/fletching clearance can be tricky, with my bow hand and grip.
Any suggestions of a good set of gloves that isn't too thick, but yet fairly warm, without the bulk?
Some premium wool or modern quiet fabric, perhaps? Camo?
Somebody has to make a mid-weight premium merino wool glove in brown, white or camo, don't they?
Wool is prefered, not only because it's wool, but because come late season, most other fabrics become more noisy and wool does not.

Hey how about mittens?? I have a nice set of mittens made out of Coyote fur that have wool lining and mose hide for the palms. They come up to mid arm, and keep my hands nice and warm. I have leather thongs tied to my wast so when I slip my hands out the mittens hang off to my sides. I put hand warmers inside if it is real cold.
Just google Fur Mittens and you can find all kinds. Some can be $$ but I feel you pay for what you get.
Good Luck!! :campfire:

I'll do a search.
Anyone use Filson gloves? The gray would work nicely. I can doctor them into an ASAT look.

I like to wear thin gloves with cut off fingers and a muff on my waist

I've switched to an Ice Breaker muff tube tied around my waist with a supply of chemical hand warmers. I'm tired of frozen fingers and I don't shoot well with boxing gloves.
