Title: note to everyone, broadheads are sharp
Post by: medic77 on December 24, 2008, 01:27:00 PM
Taking the old broadheads off to switch to newly fletched arrows and sliced the tip off of the old middle finger.  Gotta love that Homer Simpson moment.  Just be careful.  I will never be able to flip someone off the same again

If there's a bright side, the scar us usually not bad due to a nice clean cut.

I know first "hand"...

Good reminder!

Good thing you're a medic!  But look at the other bright side, if you DO need to flip someone off, and they come after you, you can just tell them you were showing them your scar.

Did it hurt??
I have only slightly cut my finger while loosening broadheads. It was enough to make me always use a broadhead wrench from that moment on!

I'd ask how much the broad head cost, but it's not relevant.   :D

Hope you heal soon.

God Bless,

Years ago I was trying to take some old Satlite 125 four blades off of an arrow without a broadhead wrench. My hand slipped and I sliced (very badly) my ring finger, my middle finger, my index finger and my thumb all at the same time. You want to talk about a bloody mess. I learned my lesson.
