Here is the JD Berry Renaisannce longbow came today. I bought it from the classifides here and had to take some pics. 64" and 62#@28. The bow is simply stunning. 7 laminations. Looks like yew limbs. Don't know what the core lams are. Arrow inlays on the back. Nicest bow I've ever seen. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

Congrtas.
Berry's bows are absolutely stunning lQQkers and great shooters.
The problem with this bow is you may never want to take it out to shoot..LOL.
Good luck..
Agreed. I had the same exact bow...sold it because it was a bit too light for me.
It's not going into the woods!
Nice one, my new bow arrived today as well! Congrats on a great looking bow!
Very Nice! Good Luck with her! :archer: :clapper:
I swear that looks like a bow that I used to own!! Hope it works out good for you. dino
Not going into the woods, where do you think it came from? LOL Just kidding great looking bow. Big Ed
Very nice bow. After you tune it in you might change your mind on brining it into the woods. JD's bows are sweet shooters and build to hunt.
Best of luck with it.
Mike
Congrats Brian...very nice.
I dunno...bows are made to shoot and to hunt...lol.
How many is this now?
Maybe I will take it in the woods after I shoot it a while. I really like my 65# Saluki longbow for hunting. Its fast, light and can take the brush well.
I only have 6 Jamie, not counting the 56# bamboo backed osage that's on the way! :bigsmyl:
Just remember, B50 only on JD's bows. The core looks to be primarily yew with locust or maybe maple. Might have a lam of black walnut there too. Hard to tell from the photo. That combo should pull stiff from the start and smoke an arrow. Great bows for sure! If you hunt, it belongs in the woods. I've killed lots of critters with JD's bows.
Brian : Thats is a fine looking bow my friend  :clapper:
Come on, you gott'a hunt with it at least once. It just ain't right if you don't. It does look real nice, have fun with it!!!!!
nice bow man! ya better hunt with it as it will make a beautifull hero picture!
Oh okay. I'll take it hunting. I'll just be real careful!
Mine goes to the woods and likes it.
Brian, Maybe it's something on the east coast, but I wouldn't if I were you...You'll be pissed if something happens..
It's like wearing ya Sunday best to hunt with..
I know it's not worth anyhting if ya don't use it, so use it for 3-D's etc., somewhere where ya don't have to lay it down or put a string on it to raise and lower from tree stand..
But then again, Berry can refinish it for you I think the last time I spoke to hime for about $100 +/- depending on what type of finish is on it.
Oh yeah thats a good looking bow right there.I'll bet it shoots as good as it looks.I can hear it crying out,Brian take me to the forest..bowdoc
I'm with my good friend bowdoc: I consider it a certain "sacrilege" not to take any hunting bow out hunting! I have one particularly beautiful bow and it's been made even more beautiful with it's hunting "scars." Everything you own will one day belong to someone else. Maybe even to be forgotten in someone's attic. Use it now. Hell, I'd shoot Wyatt Earp's "O.K. Coral" gun if I owned it even if it dropped in value by a million dollars because I did it-I'd just HAVE to! :bigsmyl:
I love that bow by the way-and in my favorite length and draw weight! Send it over! :biglaugh:
