anybody use left wing feathers with grizzly heads? Your observations? I have a right wing clamp but am not in a position to make any new arrows right now and probably won't be for a while. Thanks for any input.

Allways worked for me when I shot grizzlys, several passthroughs no problems. I guess if you were shooting buff you might want to change fletching but it wouldnt bother me to shoot what you have.
Slid one through a doe and she didn't know she was hit. Probably not a real detriment to penetration on deer sized game (at least our little GA whitetails), but right wing is supposed to help some.
Go for it with what you have unless you go for bigger game.
The optimum set up is fletching matched to broadhead bevel but, as hvyhitter and SOS rightly point out, guys have been killing deer with Grizzlies and LH fletched arrows for years.

I was fortunate enough to take a couple of animals with LW fletched arrows and Grizzly heads. I didn't notice any problems at all. Honestly, I've since made RW arrows to be "correct," and have not noticed a significant difference in arrow flight.
Good Luck!

Before I learned of the additional advantage of keeping the fletching and bevel the same, I used LW fletch with all of my Grizz heads and experienced excellent performance. This year, I switched to RW fletch with my Grizz's and had equally excellent performance.
On deer sized critters shot with reasonable poundage and good arrow weight, I would expect results to be good assuming a well-placed shot regardless of the relationship of the fletching direction to the bevel. Of course, it's always those marginal shots that get us into trouble!

Thanks guys. That is what I wanted to know. Sharpster, you're the best and thanks for your call last night!
