From some recent bow difficulties I am selling/trading my hornes brushbow
Well, I was thinking about getting another bow... and with all the choices I am utterly lost. So since we can't all have every bow I want to give you my specs and see what we can come up with. Anyone who helps I promise to get pictures of the finished product and a chance to shoot if we should ever meet up.
It needs to be a 48-52#@28 recurve. With a good sized grip like my Ben Pearson deerslayer. Preferably less than 60".
Wood choices: I like darker woods and simple contrast. Something extremely dark with maybe zebra wood and a line of color somehow.
I want to spend less than $400, I know very limiting but thats what I have to work with. This can include used ones.
Check out www.recurves.com (http://www.recurves.com) I haven't visited in awhile, but I'm pretty sure you can get a custom Chek-mate for that price. Check out the Falcon it is a nice bow, I had one (plain jane) shedua riser and red elm limbs. Give Chad an email and tell him what you are looking for...Mike
Oh yeah, I think Cocobolo looks good with Zebrawood...Mike
