Looking for some feedback on these bow blanks that are offered by Dryad bows. I would like to here some info from those who have finished one as well as any pics of them strung etc. I am really looking at these hard for my first bow building attempt.
Thanks
Jesse

I picked up a fiberglass bow blank at Compton this past year. 52#@28 and black glass. Took around 10 hours to finish working on it on and off. Smooth to the draw, likes a heavy arrow and with woolie whispers is silent. Mike and Jason were very helpful when I talked to them and I would reccomened their products to anyone who wants to try to finnish a bow on their own.

If you're looking to finish a bow and truely make it your own, the Dryad blank is perfect. Took me about 8-9 hours working off and on (probably would have been less but I know I spent at least an hour trying to figure out where I set my beer down...).
Mike and Jason were extremely helpful, and I know I bugged them everytime I had a question. They answered them all with no hesistation.
My only regret is that when it's done you feel ready to do another one... and that's just not natural.
I'll agree with wihill, as soon as your are finished with the bow and have shot it, you start thinking should I get another in lower or higher poundage, different wood and so on. Try one!!! Plus where can you get a bow to your specs. for that kind of money, a real bargin.
