Well this is the first of 6 I am making for my Pheasant hunt Jan.10

They are left wing real turkey feathers.

Nice pheasant arrow, Ranger. I love cane for arrows. That and sourwood shoots are about all I use.
  Have you tried a spiral flu flu? Will only go about 1/2 the distance of the straight flu flu. Both are appropriate depending on the hunting situations.
I add fletch tape to a full length split feather, start at the nock end and hand spiral the feather down the shaft with about 1/2" or so between spirals. I then wrap the forward and aft end of the feather for security.
