Title: Longhorn Classic
Post by: Gapmaster on December 14, 2008, 11:32:00 AM
Does anyone here own a Quinns longhorn classic, or has anyone shot one? What can you tell me about it? I'm trying to find out more about them before making a decision to order one. Thanks, Don

The Quinns Longhorn Classic is one hech of a bow. It is a very well made bow and one of the best in its price range. Great customer service as well.

An awesome bow and Dave and Peggy are top notch and their bows are fantastic.

All around you won't find a better bang for the buck either!

That there is a really good bow.  Lot of mass but the grip was too big for me.  I've heard of people taking a rasp to it for a better fit.  I happen to get one the same time I bought my Stallion.  In the end, I kept the Stallion and sold the Longhorn just because the Stallion worked better for me.  They both performed the same, but the Longhorn was definitely a lot more quite.

I have 2 stallions, I have smaller hands and they fit like a glove, and I beleive they balance better than a lot of wooden risers. All the quinns bows are some of the best buys in the buisness, have yet to hear any complaints about them. They have a great record on limbs and risers being about bombproof.
