THis is my first post awesome site.What would be a good arrow choice to get me started for a Martin x150 pullin 50lbs @28. My arrow length is 29.5 Id like to shoot aluminum, but wouldnt rule out carbon. The easton shaft selector has me shooting arrows that seem way to stiff, just dont want to waste a bunch of money. THanks for any replys

Long time since I shot aluminum, but I would guess a 2117, depnding on the point/head weight you choose. You say a 29.5" arrow.....what is your draw length? That too can make a difference. A 2018 might work well too. Somebody else will jump in here soon that is shooting a set-up similar to yours will jump in here soon! Good Luck-Mike

Not real familiar with the Martin, but they are pretty efficient from what I hear. I am presently shotting a Rose Oak Tomcat at the same weight as you are. I am shooting a 29" 400 Beman carbon with 300 grains on the front end. 100 grain brass adapter with 200 grain points/broadheads for a total arrow weight of 590 grains (on my scale). That weight is with the camo shaft and the plain black shaft is about 15 grains lighter (I think?). If you want to try this set up, I can send you a black one to try. Let me know! Mike
I have shot the x150 with 291/2 1916 with 125 up front with 4" fletch & had very good results.
That's a lot of weight of front. 2018 might work but you may have to go stiffer...Van
