About a month ago David had a couple of starter bows he was passing along to children or persons starting into archery. Both a RH setup and a LH setup. Well I have both, one LH daughter and a RH daughter along with my RH wife who does shoot just not trad. So I threw my name out there with the reservation that we really could just buy the bows and don't really "need" to be given the bows. But, I wanted my girls to try shooting without shelling out the $'s to have them not be interested...
So, David stepped up (as usual) and helped one of his bretheren out. He sent them to me to give my girls a month to try them out, and then I'm to send them to the folks who were actually drawn to receive the bows. Great jesture, and much appreciated David!
Well, my oldest really took to it, and will actually come close to hitting what she is aiming at more often than not. And would ask me everyday to go out and shoot, even in the dark! We have an area we can shoot out of the garage when it is dark... My youngest doesn't usually hit anywhere near where she is aiming (if she aims) but really loves to fling the arrows accross the yard. Good start, as I think that is where I started too...
Long story short, I think I know what I'm getting the girls for Christmas! Maybe sized a bit closer to them also...
Thanks again David for giving us the opportunity to expose our girls to one of the loves in my life. Hopefully it has struck something deep within them like it has me.
Here are some pictures of my girls shooting some arrows...

Thanks, great pictures, I love seeing the young-uns taking on the archery.
