Title: Extreme FOC question
Post by: GrootWildJagter on December 01, 2008, 02:42:00 AM
What would the effect of an extreme FOC have on the arrows ability to stabilize?

Would the arrow stabilize slower/quicker?

Stabilizes quicker.

There are ton of threads about extreme FOC here if you use the little search engine.

So far, there seems to be no limit.  Higher FOC recovers from paradox faster and penetrates better.

The hard part is getting the FOC "extremely" high and still have an arrow with proper spine.

Have done a search and read through all the Ashby reports, but cant seem to find anything on the flight caracteristics on an E FOC arrow.

But my gut feel is also that it would stabilize quicker
