I'm in Orange county for the weekend.  Do any of you guys know a place to go stump shooting?
Thanks!

There are no stump shooting places left in orange county that I know of but you are welcome to join us in santiago park. It is located in santa ana.

Only places I'm aware of would be in the Cleveland National Forest, but you'd need a Forest Adventure Pass in order to 'recreate' and knowledge of the area to find something open or flat.
Santiago Park is a nice little range, everyone I've met there has been good people. I'd take up that offer.

That's a big and diverse place. My advice is to hang the bow up for a rest and do as the wiser and more natural natives do ... frind the nearest beach that ain't gone plumb weird, wait for low tide and take a long slow walk with your bare feet in the sand. And/or head for a pier and do some fishing. I spent the entire '70s there (in my late '20s and early '30s then) in Laguna Beach and surrounds, and never wanted to live anywhere else the rest of my life, notwithstanding it sucked for any hunting you couldn't do with a Hawaiian sling. But brother, when it ended it ended ended fast and it wasn't pretty. On the other hand, Mickey Mouser in Anaheim is a big fat tempting target! Just don't let your kids see.   :bigsmyl:  d
