Just wondering how many arrows most guys carry with them whitetail hunting? I'm trying to decided on a quiver for my new bow that is on order. I have a couple in mind, one of my favorites only holds 4 arrows.
I generally carry 4 broadheads and a small game arrow.
I carry 4 as well.
I carry 3 broadheads and a judo. Ben
4 Eagle's Flight.
Four arrows when I'm in a blind hunting whitetail, six arrows when I'm stalking javelina.
I have 4 broadheads and 4 judo points in my quiver.... thats what's great about the Arrowmaster!
I have a four arrow kanati quiver, in it I carry three broadheads and one arrow with hex head......
David
3 Snuffers and a judo.
4 and a blunt
I carry two or sometimes 3 deer hunting.Hog hunting I carry at least a half dozen because it is a long way back to get more if I needed them.
4 broadheads and 2 Hex blunts in the back quiver; sometimes a flu-flu's in there, too.
You got ANOTHER bow ordered, Allen? :scared:
I like the GN strap on quivers and carry 4 broadheads and one judo.
I like 4 arrow quivers like the Kanati Pro....
Here in North Carolina, we think four deer is enough for a day(LOL)

Five WWs and one Judo.
Always 4 in my quiver. I have went to my GFA as my "go to" quiver the past few years.
JDS III
3 to 8 ,depends what I'm hunt'n and how long I'll be out. Generaly 3-4 is plenty.
3 with grizley bh's
My Thunderhorn Linx holds five: 3 WW broadheads, a judo and a blunt.
On a backpack hunt around 8 (I can't turn down grouse lol)
3 Treesharks and 2 Judo points. If I can't bring home the game with that combination, I should sell everything and go fishing! Desperado
Usually have a Great Northern 5 arrow quiver on my bow. 4 BHs and a field point/dull BH for practice.
3 broads and 1 judo.
3 tipped with broadheads, 2 with Judos.
It changes with which bow/quiver I am carrying but I have heard my buddies say that I am a "few arrows short of a full quiver" so I dont think it's enough!
I carry 3 broadheads and a hex blunt for those pesky rabbits and squirrels!!
Side quiver,5 or 6. Back quiver, fill it up.
Danny
I use a homemade side quiver. I carry 4 broadheads, one judo and 6 or 7 small game bladed blunts. Most of my deer hunts turn into squirrel hunts, I probably don't need that many broadheads.
4 w/razorcaps. When I'm deer hunting, I'm deer hunting....however, I won't pass a nice shot at a ruffed grouse.
3---used to carry 5 and just wanted a lighter quiver for easier "pointing". Now I carry 3 broad-head arrows in the small eagle Flight quiver.

Good night! Are you going to war??!
I carry 3: two BH, one SGH. I have an extra BH in my pack, just in case.
If I could find a 3- or 4-arrow bow quiver I liked, that's all I'd use for whitetails. But since my Great Northern holds five, I use five.
Eagles Flight 4 and sometimes an add-on with those rubber things that clip on to one of the arrows in the quiver. Usually 3 BHs and 1-2 small game heads
A side quiver on my Silvertip has 5, and i like to have a few odds and ends in the hide for the Guinny fowle ect,
But this one time when i shot an Ostridge, and the chase began, Andy (Tradtusker) and i realised why some of the old school guys eg Hill liked to carry a back quiver stuffed full of arrows.
4 BHs and 2 judos in my Catquiver.
:archer:
I always carry 6 arrows. When hunting 5 w/ BH and one judo. Even when practicing I have 6 arrows in the quiver. I like how it balances my bow. It also gives me the same feeling practicing as when hunting.
Uh.. one.
I carry 3
I have a five arrow selway. I carry four bh prolly two to many. With all the squirrels I see i should have two or three blunts.
I have 4 3 with wodsman and the other with a cheap brodhead
Four broadheads, and 1 practice tip.
Six-Four broadheads and two judos
3 Woodsmans in the Catquiver
I carry three broadheads in a Quickee-3 mounted on my stand or on my pack. Don't wanna get distracted worrying about rodents.
stalker quiver usually has 5 WW's and a judo, but this year for some reason I can't seem to keep it full. :jumper:
I carry 2 dozen on camp but only 3BH and 1 Judo on the quiver. I thin anyway that 1 must be enough
In my GN quiver I have 3 WW, 1 judo and 1 steel blunt.
Three Magnus two blades and one Judo in my Selway.(nut)
3 or 4 broadheads and a blunt, usually an Ace Hex.
Hi All,
For a lot of years I hunted with a Bear Kodiak Magnum, and had a matching Bear bow quiver that held eight arrows. At first I always made sure that I had eight arrows with me, but as years past I carried fewer and fewer arrows until I only carried two or three arrows, and never needed more than I had during a deer hunt.
I've had to retire the Kodiak, but for the new bow, I'm looking at a two arrow quiver and a three arrow quiver....haven't decided at this point. Of course, I do like the look of the Lakota quivers!! :-)
5 and one judo in my Shrew Mantice quiver .
Mike
3 broadheads and 1 ace hex blunt
Thanks for all the responses!!
Out of four bows I have quivers on three have three. If you can't get a deer with three get out of the tree. One of my Mohawks has a EaglesFlight Jumbo Quiver. That holds FOUR Cedars very nicely with Zwickey Eskimos.
4 for me. All broadheads (any combination of 2, 3 or 4 bladers!) with a couple of loose blunts in my pocket. I'd rather not waste quiver space with blunts & they only take a second to switch over. (I leave the broadhead in the quiver & just unscrew the shaft) I tried a few different 5 & 6 arrow bow quivers & they're just too heavy to lug around all day :D
3 big snuffers pretty much fill up the hood on my GN strap-on.......
Four Broadheads usually. Right now I'm hunting pigs so I've taken the Flu Flu's out and have 6 Broadheads in. Not a bow quiver kinda guy though.
Mike
four broadheads (one ace, two howard hill's,and one experimental) and one judo point or Ace small game point.
:archer:
6 with either 150 gr 4 bl. MAGNUS STINGERS or 150 gr WOODSMAN B/H's.
:archer:
Usually 4 broadheads and 2 with hex heads.
3 broadheads 1 fox arrow and 1 judo for aggravating squrrels.
about 4 sometimes 6.

4 broadheads and 1 judo or rubber blunt. If I'm carrying a Cat Quiver, it might expand to 5-6 broadheads and 1-2 judos.
Depends on how many times I've missed that day ...
For white tail hunting I have 2 BH and one home made head I like to call the mace..
Four in an EFA quiver
Total of 3, 2 with a BH and 1 judo
Mainly 3 cedars with broadheads and one judo tip, but I'll replace the judo with another broadhead once in a while if I know coyotes are in the area.
4 broadheads in a Thunderhorn Smallfry.
I'm an arrow aholic, you can never have enough arrows, LOL
(http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w27/kingwouldbe/island22yearsago.jpg)
5 GN quiver 3 Bhds and 2 field tips.
J
I only have 2 dzn, but I just ordered 3 more dzn...
I have a 6 arrow quiver: 4 BH, 1 judo, 1 SGH! My back quiver is full of blunts, judos, and SGH!!
Blueline
for deer hunting close to home, 3 stos in a kwikee 3 arrow quiver.
other hunting like small game or long hunts I load up my arrowmaster with 6 broadheads and 4 hex heads.
Billy
back quiver...loaded with maybe 8 broadheads and 6 blunts....if i'm carrying backpack, it'll be a Great Northern Sidekick w/ 4 broadheads and a couple of blunts/judo's.....can never have too many arrows!!!!!
I usually carry 4 broadheads, 1 rubber blunt, and 1 judo
My Hero carries a bunch :knothead: :bigsmyl: ...Van

3
I carry six.
4 in a EFA quiver...3 broadheads for big game and 1 broadhead for small.
usually about 4 broadheads and a judo......but with the arrowmaster who knows what I will lug around. Better not to need and have, then need and not have right!
Allan
3 Arrows with Woodsman broadheads when I go deer hunting.
5 broadheads and 40 squirrel arows
