It looks like im back in the game. I didn't hunt the early season with my longbow because I wanted to make sure target panic wouldn't effect my shot. Well, now we got snow and ive already taken a deer with the gun to put some meat in the freezer so the pressure is off. So instead of deer hunting I went to my Dads friends house to bowhunt some of his rabbits.
Soon as I walked in the trail had a big rabbit 7 yards from me but I couldn't find a hole to shoot through. I seen several more but the wind was howling so I didn't see the amount we normally do. I barley missed a squirrel that gave me a shot.
Man im really loving this I can actually shoot confidently. Im considering chasing some deer with my trad gear before season is over but ill defiantly be back after the rabbits. I think im gonna go hunt squirrels now im itching to get my first trad kill!!
Its addicting! I just got my second deer yesterday and I cant wait to get out again to hunt. Unfortunately Im so busy with work/school for the rest of the week. Happy Hunting!

I love it its my favorite form of archery. It really broke my heart that I found out I had target panic so that took all the fun out of it. Now thanks to a clicker and Jay Kidwells book im feeling good that im gonna beat it. I cant wait to try and take a deer with my bows. I think I can do it ive already had sevreal deer in stickbow range on the ground but with the guns going off now the deer are on red alert.
