Well, just got an e-mail from Brandon and my Rose Oak Puma Hunter is all done. Ordered just under a month ago and will be on it's way to me tomorrow. He sent along some "teaser" pics, what do you think. Cocobolo and Curly Maple throughout.

I think without a doubt he makes the prettiest bow there is. I havent seen any that compare. Maybe a Centaur with peirce points but still not as nice as Brandon's
-
Wow!

Uh oh. Another bow with the shelf on the wrong side ! :D
Can't wait to see it in person ! Looks great !
I think I feel a King Panther in my future.... ;)

Very nice looking bow. Let us know if it shoots as good as it looks.

If that bow shoots as good as it looks he'll be tagged out by the end of the first week of season. LOL

Holy *HIT batman! What a bow! I've never seen one with limb bellies like that--'course I'm a little new to trad. But good grief. Looks like that thing would be expensive just to look at it :saywhat: --lol.
Congrats for sure!
-
Thanks all. Can't wait to shoot her, hopefully gets her by Friday so I can play on Saturday. Brandon told me he spend over an hour at the local wood supplier looking for a piece of Cocobolo to match my request, now that's Customer Service. I'll let you know how she shoots.
-
Wow is right! I've sworn off buying new bows, and have done more buying used instead. But man, one of those might just end up being an exception to the rule. Sure would like to get a chance to shoot one of those babies!
-
That is impressive. Or should I say IMPRESSIVE. You know I don't think even that has enough emphasis.
-
Beautiful !!
-
A work of ART!
-
that is a nice bow
-
Way impressive!
How about a range report?
-bm.
-
Two of my favorite woods. The colors of the cocobolo and the figure of that maple.
-
I have one of his Wildcat take down recurves it is no. 3 ever made. This bow shoots better than it looks for sure .Haven't shot a wooden bow which was better in any aspect of:price, workmanship, delivery time ,absence of vibration, speed and accuracy.
-
and a Lefty!!! Im so jelious... :) congrats!
-
IF that bow shoots 1/2 as good as it looks look out!!!He does create some works of art for sure good luck with it ! OH and don't be afraid to take it in the woods!!!LOL
-
Words can't do it justice and I bet it's even prettier in real life!
-
Well, bow shipped today so I hope to have it by Friday so I can report how she shoots this weekend. Spent most of the day looking at the pictures, didn't get much work done!
-

I have the number 5 Wildcat in those wood combo's.
The pictures do not do the bow justice as bucksnort will find out.
Mine shot so well I ordered another for a hunting bow.
If you look at the limbs you will notice the contrasting lines that are about an 1/8th of an inch wide and contrasting to the limb color it's set in. That is attention to detail in an artist way.
You cannot see a glue line...he does some VERY nice work, right up there with the best.

I'm sure Greg is about ready to jump in here, but I gotta say thanks to him for stopping by just to show me this new bow tonight.
I felt like a little kid asking to borrow someones favorite Christmas toy when I asked if I could shoot it ...wrong handed. ;)
I believe this was the first time the bow had been shot by it's owner as he flung a few at the target bag in my garage.
I at least let him shoot 4 arrows before I started with the gimmee gimmee routine. :D
Very impressed with the workmanship and finish, smoothness and quietness of this bow.
I'm sold.
-
I can only say two things, WOW and I'm lefted handed if you tire of her you just call.

Well, as True_Position stated the attention to detail and overal craftsmanship in the bow are Superb. Hard to believe, but the bow shoots even better than it looks. Very quiet, did not think a recurve could actually be as quiet as it is with only some yarn puffballs on the string.
Hope to sneak out for a long lunch tomorrow and put her through the paces and run some arrows though the chronograph. Will post the results.

I have 2 of Brandons bows and they are amazing. They are both almost too pretty to hunt with but are both quite and fast. If more people on this sight would give Brandon a chance to build them a bow I think we would here less talk of all the new fast hybrid bows. I really think my Wildcat t/d is the quitest bow I've ever shot and I'm getting an honest 192 fps with a 9 grn per pound arrow. If anyone has any questions please feel free to pm me. I have a 60"60#@28" Puma Hunter and a 60"54#@28" WildcatT/D. Mike

Bucksnort,
Were you able to shoot it through a chrono?
I'm looking forward to getting your results.
-
Unfortunately I have not had a chance to get out and shoot the new bow again this week. Temperatures took a nose dive today and is supposed to be cold for a while so not sure when the next time I'll want to brave the elements will be, I'll be sure to post results when I get a chance to let loose a few arrows again.
-
Yes sir.......I'd never heard of them till he emailed me about a Sponsorship....and 'Wow' was the 1st thing that came to mind. Real beauts aint they?

Another Piece of Extremely Functional ArtWork!!
