Well finally got to do some hunting with my brother for the first time since the season opened back in sept. We hunted two hard days with no kills but it was still a blast. I enjoy hunting side by side with my brother.
The first day 30m before dark a deer had circled down wind of us and snorted us out...sounded like he was only 40 or so yards away but it was to thick and dark to see...he stuck around snorting for 30m or so then took off.
This morning we were back in the ground blind and at 7am the same thing happened. Deer moved down wind from us and busted us again. Hunted 3/4 of a day today than did some scouting. My back was hurting to much to sit the last few hours. All in all a great 2 days! Snapped some pix along the way.
I forgot to take pictures of the new scrape line but since I built the blind friday there are a ton of new scrapes and rubs running right in front of the blind. Overnight the buck came back and freshened em up but he never showed his face!
