was just reading a thread that has prompted me to ask. i've just bought 50 of my favourite b/heads for my trip to canada. they are 1 1/8" wide. i sure hope thats legal!!!
They need to be 7/8 of an inch in New Your Sate.
1" in Ohio.
Back when I was a kid I practically memorized Illinois' book. Back then I believe it was 7/8" "non-barbed" broadhead. I don't you'll find anywhere in the states that *required* larger than 1 1/8".
phew
3/4" in ND.
7/8" here in Massachusetts (not that I envision anyone going out of their way to travel here from abroad to hunt.) LOL :)
7/8" in Ontario
ozy,
I'd hit the provinces web site and find out what, if any, requirements they have for broadhead width.
snakeeater
Actually ohios broadhead width is 3/4" i just looked it up on odnr
7/8 in Manitoba.
From the Alaska hunting regulations book.
"broadhead" means an arrowhead with two or more sharp cutting edges having a minimum cutting diameter of not less than seven-eighths inch (7/8").
In PA it used to be 1" for all big game but i think they just changed it to 1" for elk only and 7/8" for deer.
