You have got to be kidding me, is that what our sport has come to? Paying $79.00 - $90.00 for broadheads? I'll trade my bow in for a smokepole before I pay that king of money...PR

I will be getting a set of the samurai heads. They match everything Dr Ashby's study determined was important in the ultimate broadhead. I for one don't like to rely on a broad head made from cheep stamped plate steel when staring down a 11 foot 1,500 pound brown bear, a pissed off bison or a moose the size of a clydesdale with a 6 foot wide rack, I'll save the tin can heads for ducks and caribou thanks.
Besides with a theoretical improvement in penetration of as much as 60% over standard broad heads I'd say stepping up to the best is well worth the money.....especially when a box of 338win/mag cost $50.00 to $75.00 and you'll never get them back once you squeeze the trigger.
Also dont you find it ironic that so many folks will spend hundreds on a bow and then set it up with a cheap arrow and broad head cutting the performance of there high dollar bow in half? No wonder so many folks think they need a 60# or heavier bow! I for one will continue to judge my fellow hunter on the character of his person rather than the price of his stuff.

they are definately built for hunting. look like the holy grail of broadheads is here.
Agreed! It's going to cost me a months entertainment budget in the short run, but I think in the long run the $80 spent will be well worth it. Besides I need to lay off the beer anyway sheep hunting starts in 9 short months and my spring bear spot is at about 3500 feet.....trail head starts at 50!
