I just traded my ACS/CX 64" 46# limbs for a set of 50# limbs. I draw right around 30 1/2" so im about 58#. I have a set of Carbon Express Maxima 350's cut to 31 3/4". With 125 grains up front they still show week. Does this sound right?
not to me you should have enouh spline for 70plus lbs I would put a 100 gr brass insert and 145gr up front .. still think a cx250 is a better spline for you 350s way stiff for 58lbs my 2 cents worth
yep, taking your draw lenght into account. I know for the 59" BW recurve @ 29.5 draw it wanted 300 spine arrows cut to 30.5.... I still think what works for one may not work for another. Go with the results Pop.......
Yeah, that would be weak.. Those ACS bows require alot of spine... Get it dialed in and it'll be great...

Ya i was shooting the 350's with 225 up front with the 46# limbs. I was just hopping i could use them with the 50# limbs. Guess i will try some beman 300's.
My widow will shoot the 350's, guess im going to have to break out the Widow for my turkey hunt next weekend, I dont think i will have time to get in some 300's and tune it up before then.
Thanks for the input guys
I have an acs 62" 60@27 and I shoot Beaman 500mfx cut to 28" with 250 grains up front. I originally bought 400's for it , but had to put 350 grains up front and cut to 29.5" to bare shaft. I would try the 250, I shoot them out of my 75# hummingbird w/ 300 grains up front and cut to 28". I draw a solid 27". Just what works for me. Also, I bareshaft towards the weak-side. When you add feathers it will stiffen up the shaft. Plus, a weaker shaft is more forgiving of a not so perfect release.
I'm shooting an ACS CX that is 60# @ 31"( 52#@28"). I am shooting 300 spine Axis cut to 31 3/4". 100 gr brass insert with 125 gr head. This setup tuned well for me. Total arrow weight is 595 gr. I would try the 300's, I bet they will work.
Build out your side plate......O.L.
