Just got a beautiful 64" "new to me" silvertip and want to go out and fling some arrows. Can some one give me a starting brace height?
This is an awesome bow FF with custom factory camo limbs. Thanks for any help.

Dave recommends 7- 1/2" to 7- 3/4"
Nock point 5/16" - 7/16"
used to have mine between 7 3/4" and 8"
I shoot my 62" FF 'Tip at 7 1/4, quiet and fast!
Just measured mine, between 7 1/4 and 7 1/2.
J
my 62" likes 8 even, maybe slightly over, but she's old. :)
Hey Gene,
Bring it to league next week so I have something to shoot & take home with me.
From what I know, about 7 1/2 to 7 3/4
Where are the pics, comon man postem..........
Brock
Mine likes 8 inches.
You guys will love this!!!! Last Wed. at our weekly fun league [won't make it next week> late elk opener], Brock's bow broke right in the throat of the grip while pulling the first arrow of the practice round. Since he only brought 1 bow, and being the "Stupid Gentleman" I am, we alternated shooting my "New to Me TF Widow". Wouldn't you know he beat me by 20 points shooting MY BOW!
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I must admit however, that other than about 20 arrows shot about 3 weeks ago in my indoor range [converted, lighted, 50' greenhouse], this was pretty much the first time I have shot it too.
Next time he wants me to Bring this Silvertip to try and do it again!! Not going to happen... I'm shooting more first as I need all the edge I can get.
Thanks to all of you with helping me set up this bow. Sure is a great shooting bow. I had no idea what I was missing all of these years.

Gene, i shoot the same bow and i have my brace at 7 3/4". i would start out around 7 1/4 and twist it up until it's about dead silent at the shot. you will notice the sweet spot when you hit it.
