I was wondering what the difference is between the Snuffers and the Snuffer SS' besides being stainless steel?? Are they the same size and cutting diameter??
No there are smaller. About half the length and smaller around. Look them up on 3 rivers site they give the dem.

Thanks never thought of that!
Has anyone used both heads, any pro or cons here???
The Snuffers are copper brazed and the Snuffer SS is Photon Welded. Lots more choices on weight and dia. of the originals. Both are quality Magnus broadheads backed by their lifetime guarantee.
These are both 125 grain heads...

Basically that is the smallest original Snuffer (100 grain with a 25 grain insert and the 125 Snuffer SS). I've took a few animals with the SS but the blood trails left a lot to be desired. Good shots that should have bled a lot more but didn't. I don't shoot the SS anymore and am sticking with the originals.
Im the same way b4life
imo, the snuffer ss is a much more popular wheelie broadhead. it almost pisses me of with the bogus of "it flies just like a field point" stuff. i say this b/c smaller broadheeads with a high profile in relation to their small size are all the rage in the compound world. why shoot the ss when the original has a lower profile, is heavier, and will produce much better blood trails. just my 2 cents.
