What do you guys think about them? do they have a web site? Thanks
they have a website at whisperstikbows.com
I have a Whisperstik VooDoostik (Longbow) and it is a smooth draw, and quiet shooter. Duane
I shot a Mojostik at Comptons 2 yrs back and boy it was nice. Jim used some very figured hiclory in the limbs. The only thing I am not crazy about is the way the calf hair rest is installed. It looks too big - but that can be fixed easily. Other than that nice bows and nice bowyer. Now I am looking for one.
I have 3 Whisperstick Mojostiks and they shoot great and are extremely quiet. JD makes a great bow.
I also concur with thew above comments. JD makes a great bow!
JD makes a great bow he is at our camp hunting right now with lots of diffrent bows he will be back at the shop wed .
I have had two whisperstiks, they are really quiet bows and smooth drawing, and they seem to have a very good cast.
I just ordered my third whisperstiks bow from JD, about three weeks ago, he said it would be here about the end of November. The wood I chose for the limbs are bamboo core with hickory overlay on front and back with mature grain. JD is put a special leather on it. He didn't say what, but I sent him a photo of a quiver that Don( E F Q ) made for me.
He's a great person to work with, he will get exactly what you want. I gave up my other two whisperstiks, and couldn't stand it ! So I am having one made for my specific needs. It is a lower poundage 45# but J.D. said the woods I've picked out will produce good performance from 45# @ 29". JD recommended I go with a 58", I originally wanted to 60" and he explained why the 58" would be better.
You most definitely can't go wrong with the whisperstiks, when I ordered mine, I told him
" there's no sense owning anything but the best"
He does a great job, and is a fine craftsman.

Great bows and an even better guy to deal with. Can't go wrong, IMO.
Own 2 now. Saving up for Number 3. He's a great guy and a darn good Bowyer.
my favorite bow. i have had most of the big names too. i have no problem spending a grand on a real nice bow but i will never do it again when you can spend half that and get an even better whisperstik. JD is an awesome person, had him in bearcamp this past sept.
I own one and sold another a few months back. They are great bows and as stated many times J.D. is one of the best to deal with. Very easy to tune and they shoot many different spined arrows equally as well.
Fast and quiet, light, stable, pretty. And JD is a great guy to boot.
