I know there's a mess of different opinions about string materials. I don't care if it's FF or dacron. Tell us what your favorite material is. (Not necessarily the one you would choose if you could only use one.)
Perhaps throw in strand counts and serving material as well?
D97 or 8125.. I also like TS1 Plus
TS1 Plus. 15 strands, 3 bundle. Diamondback serving.
12str D97 W/padded loops
I prefer D97 for my favorite string material,I make a 12 strand with 2-3 extra strands in the loop ends with .024 Halo serving.A 12 strand D97 is strong enough for up to a 100# bow.I have the same strand count on bows from 50# to 83#,it is more then I need on the 50# bow but it gives me the same nock fit on all my bows.I feel the extra strands in the loop ends helps to quieten the bow also because it is a larger diameter,it fills most nock grooves good. And you can get D97 in more sizes, you can get 375 ft. rolls and 1/8# and 1/4# spools. And I find a 1/4# spool cost less then most of the other strings, just alittle. It is a tough and long lasting string in my opinion.
450+ FOR ME.
DANNY
I like the TS1, just seems a little easier on the fingers.
TS1 ,14 strand with padded loops ,.024 halo serving.
12 strand TS+ with the loops padded to 18 strands. Best set up "For Me" I have found.
D97 and 8125 with padded loops
D97 for me also.
B-50 for me......
I'm fond of angel majesty string and serving. 18-20 strands
D97 for me in 8 and 12 strand strings with halo serving.
D97 , 9 strands and .019 halo serving , 42 # bow
D97 and 8125 with padded loops. Mostly D97 because I can get them in the colors I want in smaller spools which makes it easier on the pocket book. I use 12 strand with .24 halo serving as they fit my nocks just the way I like them. I still use 12 strand but I'm making 8 and 6 strand now with 12 in the center.
