Does anyone know how to remove the smell of smoke from leather? I have a armguard that smells like an ashtray and I've tried everything I can think of with no luck.
Thanks,
Mike

Good luck. I got a used bow once that had a leather handle like that. Took months for it to go away and I tried everything I could possibly think of.

Try wood smoking it.Smoke still but at least it will be pleasant.

Lexol makes a cleaner that might help. Use the preservative after cleaning. I like lexol because it's Ph balanced. I get mine at our local cowboy K-mart (farm & ranch store).

throw it away and buy a new one

Great thread,I would like to know also.Just bought a used back quiver on here that I could smell before I opened the Box. Ive tried washing it in different soaps,etc...no luck, still stinks to Hi-heaven. From now on I will ask when I order used..."smoking or non".

Wrap in newspaper and put away in a paper bag. If it's real bad, change the newspaper every week or so. The paper will absorb the smell.
