Title: Short Bow
Post by: mshunter on November 06, 2008, 11:14:00 PM
I was interested in any feedback on the shorter longbows out there.  I am shooting a 62" but would like to try a shorter one for stand hunting.
thanks

Shrew, Dryad, and Morrison make short longbows that shoot great and have excellent customer service.

There are a lot of short longbows out there and most are excellent shooters. You will get lots of suggestions and advice but I would say start checking websites and making calls.

Draw length will be a factor with some of the bows but if you are like me and have a short draw length you can shoot any of them.

Also forgot to mention RER bows which also make a great short one piece LB and a little longer 3 piece.

If you are in no hurry I would try and make it to one of the big shoots and try as many out as you can or check and see if they have loaner bows.

Thanks.  I am a 28" draw.  I had seen the shrews but did not realize Morrison made a short longbow.  I will check them out too.
thanks
